Research-based learning is a part of the comprehensive practice activity section in the curriculum plan for full-time ordinary senior high school promulgated by the ministry of education in January 2000.It refers to the activities that students select and determine research topics from the study life and social life under the guidance of teachers,and actively acquire knowledge,apply knowledge,and solve problems.Research learning and social practice,community service,and labor and technical education together constitute "comprehensive practical activities" and are included in the "full-time ordinary high school curriculum plan(revised trial draft)" as a required course.The "Instruction Outline for Comprehensive Practical Activities in Primary and Secondary Schools" proposes that the comprehensive practical activity curriculum for primary and secondary schools is a required course for compulsory education and general high school curriculum.It highlights that the course has the following attributes: First,it is fully implemented from primary school to high school,and is set alongside the subject curriculum.All students must participate in the study.Second,it is an interdisciplinary course that learns,analyzes,and solves real problems during exploration and experience.Third,it emphasizes starting from the student's real life and development needs,selecting and determining the theme of the activity.In accordance with the national "comprehensive guidelines for comprehensive practical activities in primary and secondary schools" and the relevant documents of comprehensive practical activities and labor and technical education formulated by Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Education,combined with the actual education and teaching conditions of junior high schools in urban areas,a specialization in labor technology was set up.Schools for education and popular science activities have set up nearly 20 professional courses since their establishment in 1997,including the “Architectural Model,” “Engraving,” “Zisha Art,” “Soft Pottery and Chinese Knots,” and “Ceramics ” "Camera and Editing","Picture Processing","Wooden Art","Oil Painting","Clothing","Teacraft","Three-Dimensional Apparel","Robot","Internet of Things","Clock Motion Animation","Computer Painting" and so on.The setting of these courses enables students to feel the close connection between study and daily life,learn to look for knowledge from around,explore knowledge,cultivate good student study habits,and greatly stimulatestudents' desire for knowledge and creativity.At present,research-based learning has been carried out in the general teaching of junior high school and senior high school,and most of them are based on subject teaching content exercises.It is usually only a few subjects such as physics,chemistry,biology,mathematics,and morality and the rule of law that open up research-based learning,and not all disciplines can participate.Due to limitations in student resources and teaching conditions,the application of research-based learning to labor and technology education is still relatively lacking.Combining the two to complement each other,it will be ideal for teaching quality and student learning.effect.This article starts from the actual teaching of our school,based on the in-depth exploration of the theories and characteristics of the research-based learning,from the "Building Model" practical curriculum related curriculum design,teaching methods change,student learning model changes,etc.And in the teaching through the experimental comparison to verify the implementation effect.The content of this article is roughly as follows:The introduction elaborates the background and significance of this topic.Through the collection of data,it summarizes the development of research learning at home and abroad and the status quo of some more developed countries.Explained the definition and characteristics of research-based learning,and determined the purpose,content,ideas and methods of the research.The first chapter expounds the theoretical basis of research learning in the junior high school "Architectural Model" course,and discusses five design principles of research learning in experimental teaching: subjectivity,openness,personalization,operability and Practical.This determines the specific methods for the implementation of research-based learning and the issues that need to be addressed in the teaching experiment design.The second chapter lists the practical examples of research-based learning in the "Architectural Model" course in junior high school,and elaborates on the relevant tests and teaching experimental designs.The text provides four related lesson plans,a detailed description of the teaching objectives and teaching process,a realistic reflection of the classroom teaching,illustrating and analyzing the application of research learning in teaching.The third chapter summarizes and analyzes the teaching experiment data,discusses the teaching results,and summarizes the teaching experience.After the development of research-based learning,students' work has been significantly improved,and the enthusiasm andmethods of learning have also improved.This also verifies the advantages and necessity of research-based learning in the "Architectural Model" course in junior high school.The fourth chapter sorts out the work carried out in the research process of this topic,summsup the teaching experience,analyzs the problems and deficiencies in the research activities,and puts forward hopes and suggestions for better development in the future.
