In recent 20 years,high-degree special education have improved a lot,the biggest scale are the deaf in high education.Now,there are dozens of universities and colleges enroll deaf students which provides more chances for deaf students learning skills and being a self-respect individual.Although the education level of deaf college has been improved recently,they still meet many barriers during their job-seeking process after graduation.Whether they can obtain jobs are concerned about their own interest such as family,college even whole society,to whom educators and researchers should pay attention.What's more,they need to explore the ways aim to guide deaf college graduates and facilitate to establish support system effectively.This study is based on Super's theory of career stages through interviewing deaf college graduates,to recall their memories of job seeking in which they can change from a student to a practitioner when they leave school to society.The article will investigate the relationship of knowledge skills even other people with communication ability in stage of exploration.At meantime,we will study the resources of the pressure during their environmental changes and how they adjust themselves to deal with pressure.Except this,researchers put forward to reasonable suggestions for the problems that deaf college graduates can not solve.The suggestions indicate that colleges and universities should promote establishment of social support system.Through the resulting of case study,it can be found that deaf college graduates mainly reflect the following characteristics in the process of occupational adaption: firstly higher expectations of salary treatment and development prospect;leading to greater contrast between ideal and reality;secondly,insufficient prepare in occupational skills based on work needs;thirdly,more feel discrimination and refusal in the occupational adaptation,and stronger frustration perplex their mood;fourthly,cognition degree of workplace rules is limited;fifth,they need sign translation service strongly;finally,the excellent deaf college graduates could adjust themselves towards the environmental changes better.According to the above research results,this paper puts forward suggestions for career adaptation education in colleges and universities.Firstly,strengthen the ability in interviewing and negotiating of deaf college graduates.Secondly,guiding deaf college graduates to recognize occupational culture to understand the characteristics of working environment with communication.Thirdly,to make full use power of examples what make deaf college students build up active belief in occupation adaption.Fourthly,trying to explore effective approaches between college and company to provide deaf college graduates wider platform.
