Children are the flowers of the motherland,the future of the country."Strong youth leads to a strong country”,China has repeatedly emphasized the importance of “enhancing the physical fitness of students" in national policy and clarified the implementation measures.With the development of "Sunshine Sports" activities at all levels of schools in China,primary schools around the country have carried out big recess activities with rich contents and various forms,especially the “Provisions for Effectively Ensuring Primary and Secondary School Students One Hour of Campus Sports Activity” proposed in 2011 emphasizes that each week in addition to the physical education courses arranged by school,every morning the primary and secondary schools need to arrange 25-30 minutes of “big recess” sports activities.,together with the daily physical education,the " big recess activities " is incorporated into the teaching plan and included in the timetable.The design of "grand events" was highly valued by experts and schools.According to actual situation of primary school recess activities,to enhance students physical quality,enrich the content of primary school big recess activities as the starting point,using the method of literature,questionnaire and interview method to study the large recess activities design of Chengdu Bai Guo Lin primary school,through the analysis of theory and practice combination:(1)The big recess activities of primary school have been highly valued by the schools and students,and they are the main means for students to exercise.However,there is little information on the design of large class activities and therefore have certain practical significance.(2)The design ideas of big recess activities in primary school mainly include: combining school-based culture;rationally planning the time for major class activities;combining the specific conditions of the venues and equipment;combining different organizational forms;combining the technical and interesting features of the action;action coordination difficulty and strength progressiveness.(3)Through literature analysis,specific practices,and expert interviews,the main principles for the design of big recess activities in primary school are science,safety,interest,and creativity.(4)In the big recess activities of Bai Guo Lin primary school,we have redesigned the collective practice of tennis practice and grade tennis game activities,stimulating the enthusiasm of students,reflecting the school based culture.(5)The innovation practice of big recess activities in Bai Guo Lin primary school is recognized by students and teachers,which is beneficial to the healthy development of students' body and mind.Combining theory and practice,the suggestions are as follows,(1)school leaders should pay more attention to the innovation and practice of primary school recess activities and pay attention to the matching of teachers in the field of gymnastic teachers;(2)Schools should organize sports teachers to visit and learn about the innovation and practice of designing big recess activities in primary school;(3)Relevant management departments should organize learning and appraisal of primary school big recess activities,and encourage the school to further innovate in primary school big recess activities through competitions.(4)The relevant management departments can set up the Internet communication platform for big recess activities such as the WeChat public number,QQ group and so on.(5)Schools with insufficient levels of individual teachers can adopt government procurement methods and employ experts to tailor.
