Mathematics is one of the most significant basic subjects of education system in our country.It is also an instrumental subject for other subjects,which is closely related to the development of society and the progress of science and technology.Therefore,it is particularly important to study mathematics.However,less than ideal,in senior high school,math has become a major obstacle of learning and some students even become mathematical learning disability.The topic of "how to transform students with mathematical learning disability" has drawn great attention of math teachers and math education researchers.Though much research has been done in this field,the research about learners' learning styles with mathematical learning disability is not sufficient at home and abroad.After the analysis of relevant literature about mathematical learning disability and learning styles,this study mainly uses questionnaires and theoretical analysis methods,applies Excel and SPSS software to deal with data,and investigates the learning styles of students with mathematical learning disability in senior high school.The purpose of this thesis is to find out the characteristics of learning styles of students with mathematical learning disability problems,and then to propose some strategies to decrease leaners' mathematical learning disability from the perspective of learning style.Hopefully,this thesis aims to help learners with mathematical learning disability.The first part of the dissertation clarifies the research background,purpose and significance of the article,as well as the contents and methods of the study.At the same time,it elaborates the theoretical basis of humanistic learning theory,multiple intelligence theory,and information processing theory and learning pyramid theory.The second part of the dissertation defines the concepts of learning disability,mathematical learning disability and learning styles,and then analyzes and summarizes the research on mathematical learning disability and learning styles at home and abroad.In the third part of the dissertation,a survey on learning styles of students with mathematical learning disability and some conclusions were made.The Solomon learning style index test was used to investigate the active and meditative,sentimental and intuitionistic,visual and verbal,sequential and generalized learning styles of the participants and to analyze the data obtained.And the tendencies of learning styles of students with mathematical learning disability in four dimensions are presented and the differences of students with mathematical learning disability among different gender and liberal arts background were also found in four dimensions.The fourth part of the thesis presents some suggestions for leaners with mathematical learning disability to help improve their mathematics.And these suggestions are given mainly from three perspectives,namely,students' independent transformation,teachers' assist and parents' assist based on the conclusion obtained above.And the fifth part of the thesis is about the limitation of this research and the prospect for the future research.
