In modern society,the spirit of innovation has become the primary quality that citizens should have in the twenty-first Century.Education is the quickest and most effective way to foster the creative spirit and practical ability of human beings.On the basis of education and the cultivation of the spirit of innovation,we have the "maker education" that we advocate today.Robot education is crucial to the rapid popularization of maker education,which has attracted wide attention and the educational value of the robot education has also gained more recognition.In recent years,more and more research on robot education has been carried out by domestic scholars,but most of them focus on the development of robot curriculum and the research status of robot education,and research on robot education lacks research on design,development and application.As an important carrier of robot education,especially in the junior middle school education,the textbooks are the robotic company's "manuals" or the user guides,which seriously affect the teaching quality and students' interest in learning,so the design of robot textbook for junior high school students is very necessary.Based on the author 's research experience,literature review,the understanding of the current situation of robot textbook design and application at home and abroad,and the existing research results,the author made a preliminary exploration of the design and development of robot textbook in middle schools.Based on the idea of maker education,this research designed and developed robot textbook,which enabled students learn from doing,cultivate innovation ability,hands-on ability,collaboration ability and problem-solving ability in the process of practice.On this basis,the author chose one class of seventh grade in 2017 fall and one class of seventh grade in 2017 spring from middle schools in Xi'an as research objects to conduct action research,aiming at finding out the problems in the design and application of robot textbook,and constantly modified and perfected them.This thesis contains six parts:The first part is introduction.This part describes the background,purpose and significance of this study in general,and reviews the status of the research on the design of textbook for maker education and the research on textbook for robot education in middle school at home and abroad through literature review.On this basis,the contents,design and methods of this research were determined.The second part is about related concepts and theoretical basis.This study firstly defines the connotation of maker education,the idea of maker education,textbook for robot education,instruction design.Then it expounds the theoretical basis of this study and its enlightenment to the study.The third part is the investigation of the present situation of the design and application of the textbook for robot education in middle schools.By taking Xi'an as an example,the author understood the current situation of the design and application of the robot textbook and the existing problems in middle school through the questionnaire survey of middle school students,interviews of middle school teachers and on-the-spot investigation on some middle schools,which provided reference information for subsequent action research.The fourth part is about the design of the textbook for robot education in the middle school based on the idea of maker education.The study on the design of the textbook for robot in the middle school was on the basis of the investigation of the current situation of the textbook for robot in the middle school in Xi'an.On the basis of the existing research,the author integrated the idea of maker education into the design and development of the textbook,summed up the design process of maker education-based robot textbook,and discussed the processes of "front-end analysis of textbook design"," textbook structure design "and "stylistic rules and layout design" in detail.The fifth part talks about the application of the textbook of the middle school based on the idea of maker education.In order to constantly improve this textbook,the author took a middle school in Xi'an as the practice base,selected students in grade seven as research objects and two semester's robot curriculums as research context,conducted two rounds of action research in one year.The first round of action research was mainly about the implementation and application of the robot textbook designed and developed initially,in which the author found some problems in the content design and the application process of textbook,and then put forward corresponding modification suggestions.Then,on the basis of the first round of action,the author carried out the second round of action research to solve the problems found in the first round of action research,and constantly reflected on and improved the textbook.The sixth part is about the summary and prospect of the research.This part is mainly a summary of the whole research work,which points out the innovations and limitations of the research and makes a prospect for the follow-up research.This research introduces the idea of maker education into the textbook design for middle school robot education,and the author has carried out two rounds of action research on the application of textbook.In the future,it is necessary to continue to practice,carry out research in a wider range,and constantly modify,improve and update content.
