Research purposes:Over the years,the causes of the decline in the level of physical fitness of college students are diverse,and inactive participation in sports is one of the important reasons.The active attitude towards sports helps promote students'participation frequency,participation intensity and participation time,and finally achieve the goal of sports participation,and the improvement of physical fitness level.This paper carries out an empirical research on physical education teaching to strengthen students' sports participation attitude,improve students' physical activity level by applying "queries and inquiries in three steps" teaching model.Research methods:This paper mainly adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method and teaching experiment method.It takes the first-grade 2017 college female students of Shaanxi Normal University as the subjects of the research and sets up experimental groups and control groups as a comparison.The "Attitudes to Exercise Scale" and "Sports Activity Rating Scale" composed of the eight dimensions are used as measurement tools which includes target attitude,behavioral attitude,behavioral cognition,behavioral habits,behavioral intention,emotional experience,behavioral control,subjective standards,etc.to analyze whether the teaching model significantly changes the attitude of college female students in participating in sports and whether this teaching model can greatly improve their physical activity levels.The results and conclusions are as follows:(1)The difference between the pre-test and post-test results on attitude toward object and perceived behavior control is marginal,indicating that the teaching model has led to a trend of improvement in female college students' sports participation.(2)The striking difference between the pre-test and post-test results on attitude towards behavior,subject standard,behaviour cognition,behavior habit,behaviour intention indicates that the teaching model has positive effects on these aspects.(3)An increase in female college students' physical exercise time and frequency but little change in intensity shows that the teaching model can markedly improve the level of physical exercise for female college students.In short,the "queries and inquiries in three steps" teaching model has positively increased the participation attitude and the level of physical education for college female students.
