Vocational education is an important factor in determining the economic development level and development potential of a country.The key to determining the quality of vocational education is its teacher status.Over the past four decades since the reform and opening up,our country's vocational education has achieved considerable development.Over the past four decades since the reform and opening up,our country's vocational education has achieved considerable development.On the basis of satisfying the demand for quantity,our country's vocational education entering a new era is undergoing a crucial stage of comprehensively upgrading its quality to meet the needs of the new economic and social transformation.From the perspective of international experience,promoting the professional development of vocational education teachers is an effective way and an inevitable choice for improving the quality of vocational education teachers.The qualification certificate system for vocational education teachers is a representation of this professional development.A perfect qualification system depends on its certification system.There is still much room for improvement in the professional development of teachers in China compared with developed countries,and professional development of vocational education teachers is a long way to go.As one of the countries with the most advanced vocational education in the world and earlier implementation of the teacher qualification certificate system,the United States has accumulated rich experience in the qualification certification system for vocational education teachers.Research on this topic can not only be a professional development of vocational education teachers in China.Provide reference value,but also help improve the quality of teachers in vocational education in China to better achieve the new mission of vocational education in the new era.This article takes the American vocational education teacher qualification certification system as the research topic,uses the literature method,the comparison method and the case evidence and other methods to discuss the qualification certification system of American vocational education teachers,with a view to improving the qualification certification system for vocational education teachers in China.Learn ideas.This study includes the following:Firstly,the reason and significance of this research are expounded,relevant research literatures at home and abroad are combed,the research ideas and methods are defined,and related concepts are defined;Secondly,the issues concerning the professionalization of teacher education in vocational education and the qualification certification system for vocational education teachers are discussed.The professionalization of vocational education teachers,the certification system for professional education teachers,and the qualification certification system for vocational education teachers are discussed.The logical relationship lays the theoretical analysis dimension for research.The third part of the study mainly elaborated on the historical development and status quo of the qualification certification system for vocational education teachers in the United States.The qualification certification system for vocational education teachers in the United States has experienced the "embryonic" period of the local government management teacher qualification certification system;the "regularization"period of the state government management teacher qualification certification system and the nationwide professional organization of teachers and the state government to jointly manage teacher qualifications.The "professional development" period of the certification system.And from the aspect of certificate type,certification institution,certification standard,certification way and so on,it summarizes the current status of American vocational education teacher qualification certification system.The fourth part of the study mainly introduced the certification activities conducted by third-party organizations,another name is professional organizations,in the qualification certification for vocational education teachers in the United States.The NBPTS,the most influential national teaching standards committee in the United States,was used as an example to introduce the organization in detail.The professional standards of professional teachers for professional education and standards-based certification content and procedures have been formulated.The fifth part of the research carried out an example discussion on the operation of vocational education teacher qualification certification in various autonomous prefectures.It is believed that each state establishes and develops its own certification method,and each state has established a relatively complete qualification certification system for vocational education teachers.Through the in-depth study of vocational education teacher qualification certification system in Ohio and Texas,the implementation of the state-level vocational education teacher qualification certification system was demonstrated.The sixth part of the research summarizes the characteristics of the qualification certification system for vocational education teachers in the United States,namely,a complete certification system that combines local and national standards,unified certification standards that both theory and practice are taken into account,multiple authentication approaches that fuse the traditional and alternative approaches,and a reasonable authentication approach that is both temporary and continuous,etc.The vocational education teacher certification system in the United States can provide a positive reference for China.The establishment of vocational education teacher qualification certification system in China should be based on the construction of a sound vocational education teacher qualification certification system,the development of multiple vocational education teacher qualification certification standards,the establishment of an open vocational education teacher qualification certification channel,and the establishment of a continuous vocational education teacher certification system,etc.
