| I Revised the LCTSR 2000(Chinese version),the LCTSR2000 includes conservation of mass and volume inference,proportional reasoning,control variable reasoning,probability reasoning,correlation reasoning,and hypothesis deductive reasoning.There are 24 items in total.The results of the measurement analysis of LCTSR2000(Chinese version)show that the revised reliability coefficient of the test volume r=0.986 indicates that the test volume has good reliability;in addition to the low degree of distinction between quality conservation reasoning dimensions,the other five dimensions Good discrimination.The Scientific Reasoning Test Paper investigates the scientific reasoning ability of 169 senior high school students.Using the independent scoring method to score the test volume,out of 24 points,the statistical results are as follows: The student’s score interval is distributed at 9-24 points,showing the distribution of the middle and more sides,and the score is concentrated at 19-22 points.And most students are in the post-formal reasoning level.The average value of the students in each dimension was calculated,and the status quo of the students’ development in the six dimensions of scientific reasoning ability was: the students’ ability of conservative reasoning was strong,and the probabilistic reasoning ability was good,followed by the proportion.Reasoning ability and hypothesis deductive reasoning ability,control variable ability level is poor,and related reasoning ability is the worst.The relationship between students’ score and scientific reasoning ability scores was analyzed.It was found that the overall score of scientific reasoning ability of the students did not show significant gender differences.There were differences between the male and female students in the reasoning ability of the control variables,and the ability of the male students to control variables was high.For girls,there are no gender differences in the other five dimensions.The correlations between students’ physics,chemistry,and biology science scores and scientific reasoning ability scores were analyzed.There is a certain relationship between the academic performance of high school science class and the development of students’ scientific reasoning ability,among which the proportional reasoning ability and the control variable reasoning ability are the most relevant.Through analysis of students’ responses to various projects and interviews,it is found that some students have lower levels of scientific reasoning ability,which are mainly reflected in related reasoning and control variable reasoning,followed by hypothetical deductive reasoning and proportional reasoning.The results of the interview are consistent with the results of the statistical analysis.The LCTSR2000 can measure students’ scientific reasoning.In addition,in the process of student’s answering,the description of the questions,the number of questions,the thinking and other factors will also affect the students’ responses. |
