With the development of pre-school education,the group of male kindergartners has become an indispensable force in preschool education.Nowadays,the male kindergartners,who have an indispensible effect on their mental and physical healthy development,play a more and more significant role.However,nowadays the male kindergartners are not so important as the emphasis of the theory.They are facing a variety of career dilemmas which need to be solved urgently.Moreover,there is lack of the research and discussion on career of male kindergartners.Based on the phenomenon,the thesis is expected to play a small role in the overall development of pre-school education and male kindergartners.The thesis employs the methods of questionnaire,interview and literature review to conduct the research on the present situation of career development of male kindergartners in China.The author takes 197 male kindergartners as the research objective.Based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs and teachers' professional development theory,the thesis discusses the' professional development needs,status and the influencing factors of male kindergartners,and explores the countermeasures and suggestions of improving professional development of male kindergartners.Research findings are as follows.Firstly,the degree of professional demand satisfaction and career development level of male kindergartners belong to the middle class on average.But,the demand of welfare security and research development is in a low level.Generally,the professional development of male kindergartners is better.Secondly,the author finds out that there exist difference but it is not significant in meeting the professional demand of male kindergartners among those who differ in ages,education degree,leadership and their nature of kindergarten.Besides,there is a significant difference in years of teaching(F=4.120,P<0.01),job title(F=0.014,P<0.05)and salary(F=4.894,P<0.001).At the same time,the researcher also finds out that there is a difference between professional development level and different ages,nature of kindergartens and kindergartners.However,there is a statistically significant difference in years of teaching(F=4.412,P<0.01),education degree(F=3.920,P<0.01),professional title(F=6.012,P<0.01),post(F=2.655,P<0.05),and salary level(F=7.263,P<0.001).It indicates that years of teaching,education degree,job title and salary level are the main factors affecting the satisfaction of professional demand of male kindergartners.What's more,years of teaching,job title,salary level in addition to education degree as well as leadership play a main part in professional development of male kindergartners.Thirdly,the author investigates the correlation between factors of professional demand and professional development level of male kindergartners and finds out:there is a significant correlation between professional demand and professional development level of male kindergartners,which indicates if the professional demand of male kindergartners is met,their professional development will reach a higher level.In addition,the thesis carries the path analysis on the collected data.And the author obtains the further result:Welfare security(t=5.215,P<0.001),professional identity(t=3.049,P<0.01)and external evaluation(t=2.653,P<0.01)are the main factors affecting the career development of male kindergartners.The thesis clarifies the main influencing factors and its degree on the career development of male kindergartners.And on this basis,it is expected to put forward education suggestions from the perspectives of the male kindergartners,the kindergarten and government to solve a variety of professional confusion faced by male kindergartners and help them with career development.
