With the development and progress of society,the "aesthetic education" of the people has become more and more important."Music education" has received much attention as an important part of the aesthetic education system.In order to maximize the function of music education,the cultivation of music teachers is inevitable.But the post-professional development of music teachers has gradually exposed its problems.Music teaching and research activities are one of the most important forms and are directly related to the quality of music education in our country and to the practice of the core of socialism.Values and in-depth exploration of traditional cultural and moral education resources also provide tremendous help.As a key transitional stage between basic education and higher education,secondary schools burden the vital task that they cannot afford to ignore.The appropriateness of secondary schools' music education is directly related to the social stratification of the new generation of music cultivation.So the improvement of people's quality is imminent.Today's teaching and research activities are rich and varied,but there are still problems such as lack of school planning,enthusiasm for teachers,and effectiveness in work.Based on the author's personal experience and the accumulated knowledge studied before,the author chose the research topic of the teaching and research activities of middle school music teachers.This article takes Wuhan as an example and conducts surveys with educators representing teachers to examine the reality of the music teaching and research activities in Wuhan,in order to find out the existing problems,and provide opinions and suggestions for the current development of music teaching and research activities,and promote the development of music teaching and research activities.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.It puts forward the background and significance of the problem,sorts out the relevant documents domestically and abroad in the past 50 years,and presents the changes in the research direction in the form of charts.The concept of teaching and research activities will be defined,and the research ideas and methods of this paper are put forward.The second part is the theoretical analysis of the middle school music teaching and research activities.Through the elaboration of relevant theories of lifelong education theory,teacher professionalism theory,developmental behavior theory,teacher professional community theory and other teaching and research activities,the overall characteristics of teacher development are summarized.The current content and process of music teaching and research activities are analyzed,so that the development mechanism of the teaching and research activity system of music teachers in China could be further discussed.The third part is the current situation and analysis of the music teaching and research activities in Wuhan.Through a self-created questionnaire,an interview survey was conducted among music teachers in 13 educational areas in Wuhan.The results show that teachers are more interested in self-revision teaching and research activities in teaching and research activities,and,in teacher's aspects,this kind of activity gains more than the institutional teaching and research activities.Most middle school music teachers believe that the existing problems in teaching and research activities can be concluded that schools do not attach importance to it,or lacking of professional guidance,interaction and cooperation while teachers' too much work pressure,research funding is insufficient,and leadership doesn't attach enough attention.The fourth part is the part which the measures to promote the improvement and development of music teaching and research activities would be put forward.This article puts forward two directions of inter-exploration and intra-exploration.The inter-exploration is that the organizers of teaching and research activities must effectively meet the real needs of secondary school music teachers participating in teaching and research activities.promoting the equalization of secondary school music teachers' participation in teaching and research activities in all districts of the city and the diversity and balanced development,continuously improving the innovative capacity of teaching and research teams,and strengthening evaluation systems and administrative support for teaching and research activities.While intra-exploration is aimed at teachers themselves,requiring teachers to establish clear professional development goals,promoting the formation of self-development awareness of secondary school music teachers,and change from "knowledge-oriented" teachers to"life-oriented" teachers.The fifth part mainly summarizes the research,proposes possible innovations and limitations in the research,and forecasts the future development trend of teaching and research activities of music teachers.
