The Chinese subject has the characteristics of humanism and instrumentality,so it also bears the greater responsibility of "educating people" in the basic discipline.As an important part of Chinese subject,Chinese composition should be responsible for cultivating students' humanistic quality.However,the present situation of Chinese composition teaching in high school is not optimistic.Problems like short of writing materials,lack of true emotion,lack of content as well as poor language expression become more and more common among high school students' composition,which leads to a great dilemma in high school writing teaching.Nowadays,with the development of new media,and the features of short and close to the current affairs,news commentary gradually gains its popularity among students.Many students like to post their personal views on specific news on social media like Weibo.Therefore,the author holds the opinion that news commentary writing can be applied into high school's Chinese composition teaching,in a way more close to the students' real life to inspire their interest in writing.Meanwhile,through training students' writing thinking,students' writing skills could be improved,and their Chinese language ability could be comprehensively enhanced.Based on the background of new curriculum reform in Chinese teaching,and the in-depth studying on writing theory of commentary writing,broad attention to new trend of teaching and research relating to high school commentary writing,thorough investigation into the current high school commentary writing under the new curriculum reform,the author combines personal practice,analyzes specific cases of high school commentary writing teaching and proposes suggestions on the problems in the current situations.In the end,the paper explores new ways for high school commentary writing to adapt to the modern education and then draws effective teaching strategies for high school commentary writing teaching.This paper combines news commentary writing with high school Chinese writing teaching to draw more attention to commentary writing,and finds a win-win solution betweenexam-oriented education and education for all-round education to provide new insight for the current writing teaching.
