No one has ever doubted about the classic status and contemporary value of Lu Xun's Works in Chinese education.There are still many teachers confused about the value orientation of Lu Xun's Works in Chinese teaching after ten years of vigorous New Curriculum Reform so that they don't know which value they should choose.So,combined with historical development,practical problem and lesson analyses of the research on Lu Xun's Works teaching value orientation,this paper reconsiders and reorients the teaching value orientation of Lu Xun's Works in middle school from the Chinese Core Competencies point.The purpose of the paper is to provide much reference and enlightenment for teaching Lu Xun's Works and realize the inheritance and development of literatures' practical value.This paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter 1.From the beginning of the founding of our country to ten years of New Curriculum Reform,the number of Lu Xun's Works in middle school Chinese textbook increased firstly and then decreased.And later,it regained increase.Finally,it decreased again.The teaching value orientation of Lu Xun's Works has changed a lot in different historical period: ideological and political education,the tools of class struggle,competence training of Chinese textbook and cultivation of humanistic quality.Chapter 2.After ten years of New Curriculum Reform,there are many classical works including Lu Xun's were deleted out of the textbook,which has led to a heated discussion among the whole community.Due to the influences of transformation of the times,historical estrangement,educational environment and the work itself,pluralistic ideology has led to the diversification of teaching value orientation of Lu Xun's works.Chapter 3.This part extracts three common pursuits of teaching value orientation: to restore the true of Lu Xun,to comprehend Lu Xun's language charm and revealing the mind of Lu Xun,after comparative studied the teacher's guidebooks and lesson analyses of three famous works: Mr.Fujino,Kong Yiji,and The Bringing Principle.Chapter 4.Chinese education desperately needs to remould the teaching value orientation of Lu Xun's Works combined with development of times,in order to make the classic status and contemporary value of Lu Xun's Works display a new vitality.Based on the Chinese Core Competencies of new course standards,this part provides theoretical and practical basis for teachers in remoulding teaching value orientation of Lu Xun's Works in middle school from language application,thinking development,aesthetic experience and cultural education.Chapter 5.Combining with previous research results,this part provides feasible suggestions for teaching value Orientation of Lu Xun's Works in middle school: keep up to academic frontier and deeply revealing "dagger and spears" in interpreting text;pay attention to the acceptability of students and the literariness of the works in teaching content;flexibly use comparative reading,conversational teaching,connecting to life and inquiry based learning in teaching methods.All these methods aims to help students not only approach Lu Xun and his works,but also reveal the mind of Lu Xun.
