In 2013,the United States enacted the Next Generation Science Standards(NGSS)in an effort to build a 21st century science education picture.The enactment of the new standard has received widespread attention and research in the field of science education.The integration of three dimensions of Disciplinary Core Ideas,Crosscutting Concepts Science and Engineering Practices,has achieved innovation in science education that"teaching science" become "doing science".And bring engineering design into science education,emphasizing applications of engineering,technology and science.In addition,the new standard actively utilized the research results of the field of science education,and used the research results of learning progressions,nature of science,model of curriculum mapping,and engineering education as core basis for the enactment science standard.The new standard also achieved the crosswise and longitudinal integration of science education,and presented the learning objectives and requirements of all learning stages for all students in the form of performance expectations.The conceptual change of new scientific standards in the United States is a trend of international science education,and the curriculum design and practice under this idea deserves our attention even more.The author expects to further studying the curriculum design under the guidance of the new scientific standard from the aspect of how the new standard is implemented,clarifying the principles and core issues to be solved in the practice of science education,and providing useful ideas for our country's science education.This paper studies the concept transformation of science curriculum design based on NGSS,the theoretical basis and principle of science curriculum design,and the course and assessment of science curriculum design.This paper makes some preliminary discussions on the curriculum design and classroom teaching based on the theory of Learning Progression and science learning with big ideas.It provides reference for the implementation of the new 2017 curriculum standard and the science education reform based on the curriculum standard.The innovations of this study are;Research on the origin,connotation,characteristics and principles of storyline teaching method provide guidance for the implementation of science learning with big ideas based on learning progression;This paper puts forward some Suggestions for curriculum reform based on curriculum standard;The shortcoming of this study is that the framework and methods of teacher design courses under NGSS are only preliminarily analyzed,and the specific details of the curriculum design in a certain grade are not in-depth.
