Idioms are the crystallization of national wisdom,and it contains rich myths and history.However,it is difficult to teach Chinese idioms in Chinese education.At present,there are few idiom teaching materials for overseas Chinese learners in Chinese teaching,especially the country-specific idiom teaching materials are really rare.Considering Korean students' learning features,cultural background,and native language features,I applied the Chinese classic novel The Romance of the Three Kingdoms that is famous and influential in Korea to Korean high school Chinese idiom teaching.Using The Romance of the Three Kingdoms as a Chinese idiom teaching material to have the relevant design for Korean high school students with elementary Chinese level.This essay aims at setting up Chinese idiom class that is separated from other Chinese classes,carring out the teaching experiment on combining language teaching with culture teaching,which is also a trial of country-specific Chinese idiom teaching in the field of TCSL.This essay is divided into five parts.The first part is introduction.This part demonstrate the reason,purpose and significance of this essay.By organising materials and combing literature to conclude literature review of related researches and introduce the research methods and innovation of the essay.The second part is questionnaire survey on Korean high school students' familiarity and learning interest about The Romance of the Three Kingdoms and its idioms.We did the survey on 132 students.As a result,we knew the familiarity and interest of Korean high school students about The Romance of the Three Kingdoms and its idioms,and clarify the direction of teaching materials design and teaching design of Chinese idioms for Korean high school students.The third part is the design of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms idioms teaching textbook.According to The Romance of the Three Kingdoms idioms features and student's actual situation,we chose the right teaching content,classified content the difficulty levels,and designed the textbook sample.The fourth part is the teaching design of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms idioms.In this part,we designed the relevant teaching plan,and applied it to the lesson.Finally,we summarized the teaching experience.The fifth part is conclusion.
