It lays so lid foundation for strengthening quality education and improving the quality of Chinese teaching. This report points out that, facing this favourable turn, teachers should carry out idioms teaching in accordance with students psychological character when studying. Finally, this report analyses the great significance of carrying on teaching by starting with Chinese idioms: First, it can develop students' interest in studying Chinese ancient prose. Second, it can enhance students' aesthetic interest. Third, it can make students master ancient Chinese knowledge and their reading ability.
