Classical Chinese has gone through 5000 years of baptism.It contains the essence of the Chinese nation's 5000 years of excellent culture,bearing the weight of abundant humanistic spirit and humanistic feelings.It is one of the important carriers of Chinese traditional culture.From the prose of the Pre-Qin Dynasty to the prose novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,show the spirit of the Chinese nation.Classical Chinese reading occupies an important position in the whole high school Chinese.And paying attention to the cultivation of students' reading ability is also one of the tasks of Chinese teaching in senior high school.We according to previous research productions about cultivating high school students' reading ability of classical Chinese and relevant theory of reading ability structure,combined with the practical teaching and teaching activities,explore the problems that Chinese teachers cultivate high school students' reading ability of classical Chinese in current teaching.in view of these problems,put forward corresponding strategy combined with the teaching practice.The paper first expounds the related concepts about the reading ability of classical Chinese.We made a clear definition of classical Chinese,Chinese ability and reading ability,and explored the constituent of classical Chinese reading ability.The reading ability of classical Chinese is divided into language sense ability,understanding ability,aesthetic ability and transfer ability.Secondly,we through analyzing the questionnaires from teachers and students,and combine teachers and students' contents of interview to find the problems existing in classical Chinese teaching.From the three angles of teachers,students and teaching materials,we can find out the reasons for the problems.Next,the paper discusses the basic,purpose and requirements of the high school students' reading ability in classical Chinese.Acquiring knowledge and understanding the connotation of articles is the basis for developing reading ability in classical Chinese.Carrying forward the traditional culture and improving students' Chinese literacy is the ultimate aim of developing reading ability in classical Chinese.In order to train the students' reading ability in classical Chinese,teachers should do the following three requirements.First,teachers should have higher knowledge of classical Chinese,in order to provide a better studying environment for students;second,teachers should consider the periodicity characteristics of students' physical and mental development,cultivating students' the reading ability of classical Chinese step by step;third,it is to pay attention to the general ability,so as to promote the development of reading ability.It is not enough to have a teacher's efforts to form a reading ability,and it also requires the efforts of the students.It is a basic requirement for students to make the connection of classical Chinese knowledge from junior high school to high school,establish the correct learning attitude,and emphasize the cooperation and communication between teachers and students.Finally,on the basis of expounding theory and basic connotation for developing reading ability of classical Chinese in high school,combined with myself teaching experience,put forward:(one)using passion method to enhance students' interest in reading,(two)pay attention to the cultivation of students' learning habits,(three)strengthen the language ability of students through reading,(four)using the pre-organizer strategy to strengthen the knowledge consistency,(five)using the situational teaching method to help students gain a good emotional experience,(six)pay attention to the guidance of learning ways,and identify the entry point for the cultivation of reading ability.Teachers should not only pay attention to renew their own teaching methods,but also pay more attention to the guidance of learning ways.Let the students learn to study,and provides effective methods and strategies for students to improve their reading ability in classical Chinese.In a word,the strategy of cultivating the reading ability of classical Chinese in high school needs the long-term concern of teachers and students,to discuss together,and to adjust constantly.
