On the basis of analyzing the factors which affect the classical Chinese reading ability of senior grade, this topic is going to compartmentalize the structure and level of classical Chinese reading ability and find the emphasis of each stage. Drawing lessons from the previous relevant research results and according to the physical and mental development characteristics of different period of the students, this paper is going to indicate:The first stage, senior grade 1, is an accumulation stage. In this stage, the teaching should focus on the knowledge and emotional factors. The second stage, senior grade 2, is an independent reading stage. In this stage, the teaching should focus on the reading method factor, appreciation ability and evaluation ability.The third stage, senior grade 3, is a study reading stage. In this stage, the teaching should focus on the preliminary study ability and the ability of creative reading.It must be noted that those emphasizes do intersect and Integrate in every stage. To divide the level of the high school writings in classical Chinese reading ability, could provide orderly development direction to the classical Chinese reading ability teaching and reduce the inefficient phenomenon of teaching. To reveal the teaching emphasizes of the senior grade classical Chinese reading scientifically, could provide a scientific basis to the exploration of the effective way to heighten the classical Chinese reading ability.
