With the deepening of social openness,individual oral communication ability has developed into an important part of individual core literacy.Accordingly,China’s Compulsory Education Chinese curriculum standards put forward specific provisions and suggestions for oral communication,and various versions of Chinese textbooks have been adjusted accordingly.Nevertheless,the development of oral communication teaching still lags behind other parts of Chinese teaching.Junior middle school students are in a critical period of physical and psychological development.Abstract thinking is further developed.The scope and depth of social activities have changed greatly compared with primary school students,and their desire to express is more intense with the broadening of their horizons.These changes put forward higher requirements for their oral communication ability and level.We should strengthen the oral communication teaching of Chinese in junior middle school in order to meet people’s expectations.In order to study how to cultivate and improve students’ oral communication ability in the existing Chinese oral communication teaching in junior middle school,this paper takes the Junior Middle School Department of e middle school in B city as the case study object,and uses the methods of interview and observation to study the specific situation of Chinese oral communication teaching in junior middle school.Firstly,combined with the teaching value of oral communication,an interview outline is prepared,and in-depth interviews are conducted with teachers and students in the junior middle school of e middle school to understand the opening and teaching of oral communication classroom in the school.Secondly,make an observation record form to observe and record the junior middle school Chinese classroom teaching of 9 class hours in e middle school,and master the specific situation of teachers’ oral communication teaching in the conventional Chinese classroom.The survey results show that there are many desirable experiences in Chinese oral communication teaching in Junior Middle School of e middle school,but there are also some deficiencies.E middle school has a relatively mature form of oral communication,debate competition,which is initially embedded in the content of oral communication teaching in the conventional Chinese classroom teaching.However,after in-depth analysis,it is found that the oral communication teaching in e middle school does not set up a fixed curriculum,the form of oral communication is single,the content of oral communication is boring,the oral communication activities are lack of diversified evaluation,students lack expression opportunities and do not pay attention to peer communication mechanism.It is believed that the oral language teaching in junior middle school can adopt the form of flexible case study and the oral language teaching in this school;But at the same time,we should also pay attention to the development and utilization of oral communication curriculum resources,and strengthen the guidance of oral communication skills.
