Length of compulsory education is an important indicator of a measure of the level of education in a country or region and comprehensive national strength.The nine-year educational system,one of the foundation in the education system,locates in the lifelong development of students,played down the pressure from the examination by which six grade junior students enter senior school and reduce the student schoolwork burden on students while solving the social concern of education,such as the tough school choice.It also reflects the educational fairness and universal as well as the integration of education and the scale and agglomeration effects.The development of school-based curriculum is a curriculum development based on the school's democratic development and decision-making process,namely the principals and teachers,curriculum experts,students and parents and the community together to participate in the school curriculum plan formulation,implementation and evaluation activities.It is conducive to the professional development of teachers,the growth of students and the formation of school characteristics.In this paper,I regarded D school as a case,and made interviews and inquiries on the teachers?the students and the students' parents to study the development of school-based curriculum of D school in Sihong County,Jiangsu Province.Through investigation and the study,I found that D school has achieved some effect in the development of school-based curriculum as follows:in the course of continuous exploration,the curriculum is constantly trying and improving;It has improved the teachers' overall mental outlook and their specialty.Moreover,it has promoted the development of students.There are some problems that should be solved in the development of school-based curriculum in D school as follows:The quality of school-based curriculum development is not high;The resource shortage is also a problem,one can not make bricks without straw;Parents do not actively participate and so on.If these problems are not solved in time,school-based curriculum development can only be the form.So I put forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions:to strengthen the organization management of school-based curriculum development,and the resource management system and so on.In the nine-year school,the development of school-based curriculum and national curriculum and local curriculum can be complemented.And in practice,it can play its due role.
