Integrating the horizon of public history into the development of school-based curriculum in middle schools' history teaching will be a help to improve the conservative present situation which makes us get into a groove.However,the whole process that involves the research,the development and the implementation is worthy to be considered by all the history teachers.This research aims to pursue the significance and the value rationality of the publicity for school-based curriculum development in middle schools based on the following four aspects:the value of socialization for history education,the application of local materials in history teaching,the effective construction of history school-based curriculum in middle schools,and teachers' development in teaching competency.By comparing Wujiang Shengze High School's two school-based history books that study "Shengze silk culture",this essay highlights the qualitative change of the school-based curriculum in the three aspects of the curriculum goal,the curriculum content and the implementation.Through the practice such as referring to historical data,interviews and visiting the spots,it displays in a multidimensional way both the activity design and the achievements of Wujiang Shengze High School's history teaching group in the construction of making school-based curriculum public.In combing the teaching materials and the teaching activities,the author reflected on both the shortcomings of the evaluation mechanism in making school-based curriculum public and the various problems appearing in the construction of school-based curriculum,expecting to map out an all-round construction strategy for school-based curriculum,which can be popularized in the long term.
