In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,the party and the country have always been concerned about the ideological and political education of college students.Based on the relevant documents and policies,practices and effects of ideological and political education,the course of development of ideological and political education for undergraduates since the reform and opening up can be divided into three phases:the period of restoration and development,the period of sustained development,and the period of in-depth development.By analyzing the policy basis,concrete measures and results achieved by the college students' ideological and political education in different periods,it will lay the foundation for summing up experience.In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,one of the experiences of ideological and political education for university students has been:Adhering to the education content and form of education and repair,pay attention to play the role of "main position".It includes the following three aspects:Firstly,we must always adhere to the latest achievements of Marxism in China as the guide,adhere to the party's leadership,persist in obeying and serving the party's central work,and strive to adhere to the correct political direction.Secondly,taking education of ideals and beliefs as the core,conducting education on world outlook,outlook on life,and values;taking patriotism education as the focal point,carrying out national spiritual education;based on citizen moral education,carrying out socialist core values education,keep pace with the times and constantly consolidate and enrich educational content.Thirdly,from intensifying the form of classroom education to developing social practice,from promoting the use of model demonstrations to seizing network position,and continuously strengthening and innovating forms of education.In the 40 years of reform and opening up,the second experience of ideological and political education for university students has been:Adhering to the combination of internal construction and external factors,and pay attention to the construction of a "great thinking" pattern.It includes the following three aspects:Firstly,We always attach importance to the building of a team of ideological and political work for college students,strengthen the construction of a team of ideological and political theory teachers,and strengthen the construction of a team of counselors to safeguard ideological work.Secondly,through the establishment of a leadership management system,self-improvement of the internal mechanism,and strengthening the teacher protection mechanism to ensure that the implementation of ideological and political education has been optimized;Thirdly,While strengthening the construction of campus culture,we must create a good social environment and create a harmonious family atmosphere,so as to strengthen the linkage with society and the family and form a big pattern of ideological and political education for college students.
