Swimming is not only a sports item,but also a basic skill for human survival and self-help.Learning to swim is necessary for human survival.At the stage of human growth and development,the education and growth of children and adolescents are the cornerstones for future development.Schools are the largest and most intensive carriers of education for children and young people,and they are one of the important ways for primary and middle school students to learn their knowledge and skills.Developing swimming courses is a need to comply with the development of the times and improve the survival ability of children and youths.It is an inevitable trend for the development of physical education in primary and secondary schools in the future.At present,as a compulsory or elective course in major universities,swimming classes are well established.For example,Tsinghua University,an institution of higher learning in China,requires each student to pass the school's swimming exam when they graduate,hoping to make each student master swimming skills.However,it is not ideal to carry out basic education in primary and secondary schools.Children and children lack understanding of the characteristics of water and cannot correctly understand the dangers of water and cannot produce awareness of safety precautions.But it also has the characteristics of being hydrophilic and happy,so the possibility of accidents and dangers is even greater.This article investigates the current status of swimming lessons in traditional swimming schools in five swimming projects in Tianjin through literature research,interviews,questionnaire surveys,and logical analysis methods,and analyzes the existence of swimming lessons in traditional schools in five swimming projects in Tianjin.The problems and future development prospects are based on the study of the teaching environment,instructional curriculum,teacher faculty,and teaching effectiveness of swimming teaching,including the effects of students' training,the teaching effects of teachers,the support of schools,etc.The many factors that the class carries out,put forward the specific suggestion and solution method.Through the investigation of five schools in Tianjin where swimming lessons havebeen conducted,it has been found that there are five major factors that hinder the development of swimming lessons: hardware facilities,teaching settings,reasons for teachers,reasons for students,and other reasons.The main conclusions are as follows: 1.Tianjin has a good atmosphere for swimming and swimming is widely used.The development of swimming in primary and secondary schools needs to be improved.2.The coverage of swimming pool construction in Tianjin can only provide the daily needs of the people,but the utilization rate is not high enough.3.Tianjin's swimming teachers are highly qualified and have a high level of education,but they are slightly lacking in demand.4.The teaching setup is not reasonable,the content is relatively single,and the students are not active.5.The education-related units in Tianjin gradually attach importance to the swimming curriculum in primary and secondary schools,but the actual operation is more difficult.6,different groups of people understand and attach importance to the degree of swimming lessons,causing obstacles.The findings of the study are targeted: 1.Strengthen the promotion of swimming programs in primary and secondary schools and promote the safety of swimming and water safety.2.Increase the construction of swimming pools and other infrastructure,increase the utilization rate of venues,and encourage schools to cooperate with out-of-school swimming pools or training courses to form an integrated model.3.Improve the awareness of the importance and necessity of swimming in different groups.4.Strengthen the construction of teaching staff for swimming teachers and improve teaching standards.5.Arrange the courses reasonably and improve the teaching materials,syllabus and evaluation system.6.Innovate teaching methods and means,enrich teaching content,and improve students' interest in learning and learning.
