Investigation And Research On The Current Situation Of Swimming Class In Primary Schools In Xicheng District,Beijing

According to recent news reports,hundreds of thousands of people around the world suffer disasters on the water every year,and the number is still rising.In this way,the ability to swim is a vital skill for everyone.Swimming can be learned at all ages,starting at preschool,and has practical value in improving health.Therefore,it is very necessary to learn swimming effectively from school days.Since the reform of the new curriculum,some primary schools in Xicheng District of Beijing have strengthened the innovation and expansion of physical education curriculum according to their own realities,and set up characteristic courses for swimming course,which is also more in line with the education and teaching concept of the new era.This paper selects the current situation of swimming teaching in Beijing No.2 Experimental Primary School,Beijing Primary School and Beijing Xicheng District Fanstruggle Primary School as the research object.In order to obtain real and effective data and grasp students' views on swimming class,the paper adopts methods such as questionnaire survey,interview and documentary data.From curriculum goal,curriculum content,teaching evaluation and other aspects of swimming targeted research of the current school-based curriculum development,from all levels further discusses the three primary school swimming present situation and problems of organization and implementation of school-based curriculum,it is concluded that the following findings: swimming teaching environment to achieve the teaching basic requirements,but the venue part of ageing problems still need to be solved;The curriculum design is relatively rigid and old;The continuity of courses is insufficient,and the number of weekly lectures is too small;Safety compulsory courses such as first aid knowledge are not well combined with teaching.Swimming lessons for three primary school problems present in the results of the survey analysis,from raising awareness,improve idea,integrate environmental atmosphere goal setting,the implementation of the scientific layered teaching contents,organization need better course,strengthen the teaching form of diversification,integration of the existing evaluation system,encourage upgrade faculty,improving with swimming facilities,Proactive countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to enhance the implementation effect of school-based swimming course in primary schools in Xicheng District,Beijing from the aspects of reasonable allocation and planning of site use:1.Timely replacement of old equipment,improve the diversity of teaching;2.Swimming teaching materials need to be further improved;3.Increase the continuity and comprehensiveness of the course;4.Combination of swimming and life saving knowledge;5.Add evaluation link to promote the effect of review.
