| The report of the 19 th CPC National Congress pointed out that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.China’s economy has shifted from high-speed growth to high-quality development,accelerating the construction of a socialist modernized economic system,we should improve the quality of supply as the main direction,foster knowledged-based skilled workers,and promote the spirit of labor model and craftsmen,meanwhile to create the social graces of glorious labor and strive for perfection.As an important front for cultivating high-quality and high-skilled laborers and reserve forces of “great country craftsmen”,higher vocational colleges have integrated ideological and political qualities,professional qualities and technical skills,which have become important issues for the development of higher vocational education in the new era.Therefore,higher vocational colleges should pay more attention to the cultivation of students’ professional qualities,promote the improvement of professional qualities of vocational students,and train high-quality skilled personnel with both explicit professional qualities and implicit professional qualities,so as to promote the connotative development of higher vocational education.To meet the needs of social and economic development.Based on the analysis of current theoretical achievement of foster professional quality,the paper elaborates the connotation fostering feature of professional quality and and analyzes the effectiveness of applying the concept of total quality management to foster professional quality in higher vocational colleges.,and the paper explores the stage of fostering vocational professional under the PDCA cycle.Then through empirical research methods,the paper focuses on analyzing the status and problems of professional quality of vocational college students and the deficiencies in professional quality education of higher vocational colleges,so that the proposed strategy is more realistic and pertinent.At the same time,it will introduce the dual system of Germany,Canada’s CBE education model,and professionalism in Japan.All of these will combine the actual China’s national conditions,the development of economic,student characteristics and social environment to strive to explore and develop vocational education which suitable for China’s national conditions.At last,based on the concept of total quality management,And the strategies of fostering professional quality which includes total quality,overallprocess and total staff were discussed.Total quality is to require higher vocational colleges to pay attention to the dominant professionalism and the recessive professionalism;the whole process requires the integration of professional quality education into talent cultivation through an effective carrier system.full participation requires the formation of a pattern for the overall mobilization of vocational literacy for vocational students.Including the self-cultivation of vocational students,teachers set a good example and build a new model of school-enterprise cooperation and education.These three dimensions of concrete measures to effectively improve the students’ professional quality education,and constantly improve the students’ professional qualities and employment core competitiveness,and promote the overall development of students. |
