HPS education includes three parts: history of science education,philosophy of science education and sociology of science education,and has become a new focus of international curriculum reform since the 1980 s.HPS education focuses on creating the historical situation of scientific inquiry for students to participate in the process of scientific knowledge inquiry so as to better understand the meaning of the nature of science.The new curriculum standard launched by China in 2017 emphasizes the strengthening of students' understanding of the nature of science,and puts forward the core quality of congealing the nature of science.In terms of high school geography,the core quality of geography is to harmonize views,comprehensive thinking,regional cognition and geographical practice.High school geography because content easy to understand and know the content of the memory is more difficult to cause the students' interest in learning,to develop HPS education in high school geography,mining the history of science in human geography,science,philosophy and sociology of science content can enrich human geography teaching content,as well as deepen students' understanding of the essence of geographical science,promote the formation of the core accomplishment.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out HPS education research in high school humanistic geography.This paper focuses on the core concepts of "human geography","HPS education",and combines the relevant content of Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017)to study the HPS education in the teaching of high school human geography.Firstly,relevant literature and materials are sorted out,the research status of HPS education at home and abroad is analyzed,and the related concepts of HPS education and relevant theories of HPS education in high school humanistic geography are sorted out.Through the questionnaire survey,the students and teachers in the Pulandian District Senior High School,Pulandian No.38 Middle School,Pulandian District No.2 Middle School were investigated.The survey found that the development of HPS education in human geography was not enough,and the teachers were confused about the way to develop HPS education.Then the statistics of the Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017)in human geography knowledge,because there is no issue with the new standard of geography textbook,so analysis in geography textbooks for high schools are Compulsory 2,take3 "Tourism Geography",take 4 "Urban and Rural Planning",taking the HPS education content in "Environmental Protection".Finally,on the basis of the above research,combined with the characteristics of high school humanistic geography,the feasibility and main ways of HPS education in high school humanistic geography teaching are analyzed.It is concluded that situational teaching method,reading guidance method and multimedia teaching can be used to carry out HPS education,and the teaching design of applying reading guidance method and multimedia teaching to carry out HPS education is designed by taking the evolution ofhuman-land relationship thought as an example.
