In recent years,China has been actively promoting the reform of basic education.Geography education and geography teaching reform research come down in one continuous line.With the rapid development of geography education in China,more and more people understand the concept of the new geography curriculum,and various types of geography teaching materials are also used in teaching practice.The country is deeply promoting the reform of geography teaching,which has greatly changed the structure of geography classroom teaching.The quality of teachers has been improved significantly,the construction of teaching materials has been strengthened,the teaching equipment has been gradually improved,and the teaching reform has been gradually deepened.The overall research level and research ability of geography education from theory to method,from textbook to practice have been improved rapidly.Based on the content and quantity of geography education in middle school from 1981 to 2015,this paper uses the method of combining qualitative research and quantitative research,combined with experience and theoretical derivation,and uses bibliometric method to conduct statistical analysis on the content and literature.Through comparative research,this paper analyzes the change and development of the research level of Geography Science in China in recent years.The conclusions are as follows(1)From 1985 to 2003,geography changed from perceptual to rational;from qualitative description to quantitative analysis;from standing on the surface to looking at the surface from the outside.From 2003 to 2015,geography education has paid more attention to the overall research of the system,strengthened the practical application of geography,and diversified reform,involving teaching methods,teaching materials and teaching evaluation.(2)The research on the thought of middle school geography education focuses on teaching materials;the research of teaching materials focuses on introducing the basic knowledge of geography,and makes a comparative study of different versions of geography textbooks;theoretical research focuses on the new curriculum reform,and few scholars discuss the middle school geography curriculum from the theoretical level;the middle school geography education does not integrate the theories of pedagogy;the middle school geography quality education does not match the local conditions Science examination.The thought of geography needs to be integrated into other disciplines.From the perspective of this discipline,we need to explore quality education.At the same time,we also need to deeply study geography examination.We must deeply explore how to better guide their learning psychology and learning methods.It is necessary to systematically study the Research-based Learning theory of middle school,and at the same time,we need to explore the research nature from multiple angles and levels Curriculum teaching,with middle school geography teachers as the research focus,focuses on how to obtain better professional development,so that middle school geography education can get better development.
