The writing purpose of this thesis is analysing the influence of new concept on geography education reformation with our knowledge and understanding of modern education concept ,It analyses the new concept according to three aspects.I. The producing background of modern education concept makes readers understand that concept transformation is the needs of society development and the needs of personnel training. Education aim guided by the new concept is training new generation who can fit in the future society and have creative power and practical ability.II. The geography course standard guided by modern education concept describes the new geography education concept. That is everyone must learn the geography that is useful for life and is useful for development of all his life Guided by the new concept, geography quality education has its own crux and content. The thesis also analyses the infiltration of new concept in the textbooks such as the geography experimental textbook which is published by Hunan Education press.til. When facing the new concept ,new course standsard and the new textbooks, teachers will change their parts and positions in class teaching .And their teaching concept will also change greatly .There will be higher professional quality to teachers. The students as studying principal part will also change their study ways. They will study on their own initiative look into the study content and study together instead of studying passively before. The evaluation to geography studying was paying attention to the result before. But now It is not only paying attention to the result but also the study process and the change of feelings, attitude and behavior. Thus we will create an encouraging evaluation system.The conclusion is whether geography education reformation will succeed or not depends on the tranibrmation of its education concept. The concept transformation will finally reflect on the training objectives . But the training way will achieve its purpose with the help of transformation of textbooks, teachers' viewpoints, study style and education means.
