Research On The Types Of Logical Reasoning In The Field Of Math And Algebra In Junior Middle School

This study uses literature analysis method and consults a large number of theoretical and practical research results on logical reasoning.Taking the junior middle school textbook of Beijing Normal University as an example,the reasoning ideas in the field of logarithm and algebra are sorted out and analyzed with examples,and the presentation of reasoning ideas in textbooks is analyzed in detail.The results show that there are a lot of reasoning ideas in junior high school mathematics textbooks.Reasonable reasoning is used to make reasonable guesses and deductive reasoning is used to support proof.Both of them are indispensable.After using reasonable reasoning to acquire new knowledge,even if the junior high school students’ knowledge reserve and other problems can not be deductive proof,other students should also use acceptable methods to verify.Examples,geometric sketchpad drawings,etc.Although there are a lot of reasoning ideas in textbooks,the reasoning training is not clear enough.In textbooks,emphases are laid on the use of reasonable reasoning to derive formulas,conceptual rules and so on,but there are not enough specific topics aiming at cultivating students’ reasonable reasoning.This study provides a reference material for junior middle school mathematics front-line teachers to understand logical reasoning and implement logical reasoning in teaching.It is helpful for them to clarify the ideological context of reasoning,grasp the essence of mathematics teaching content and improve the efficiency of lesson preparation.At the same time,it gives some pertinent suggestions for compiling textbooks and using textbooks.Furthermore,it is conducive to the implementation of the spirit of reasoning in curriculum standards.
