"A Dream Of Red Mansions" And Middle School Chinese Education

A Dream of Red Mansions is the peak of Chinese classical fiction.Its language art and characterization radiate immortal artistic glory in the history of Chinese literature and world literature.Since being selected as a middle school Chinese textbook,the research on its teaching has become a spectacle.However,there are few studies on the comparison between the required texts and the original works,as well as the thematic reading.In addition,the textbook has just been published,and the research on this part is even more rare.This paper chooses the popular experimental textbooks and integrated textbooks in mainland China,makes a detailed analysis of the selected texts of A Dream of Red Mansions in the compulsory textbooks through empirical research,finds out the basic situation and problems of the selected texts of A Dream of Red Mansions in the compulsory textbooks,and puts forward the plan to promote students' reading.Firstly,the text selection and style of compulsory textbooks in junior and senior high schools are studied.By means of comparative study,starting from the realization of the language knowledge,language ability and teaching objectives provided by the textbooks,the differences between the textbooks and the original textbooks and the existing problems in the selection and design of the textbooks are found.Secondly,it explores the possibility of expanding from compulsory texts to reading the whole book,and puts forward the practical ideas of reading from compulsory texts to guided reading of famous works,to thematic reading,and finally to the whole book.Finally,it makes a reflection and summary of the previous chapters,explores the selection criteria of the selected articles,and summarizes the obvious problems existing in the existing textbooks in order to attract attention and attention.The conclusion part is a summary of the research system of this paper,and points out the shortcomings in the design and writing of this paper.I hope that the research of this paper can provide some reference for the practice of Chinese teaching.
