Higher vocational education is the most close to the social life of an educational model,with the rapid development of society,higher vocational education will also be more and more attention.Nowadays,higher vocational physical education has become an important part of higher vocational education.With the sustainable development of economy,the consumption level and industrial structure of residents are constantly upgrading,and the position of sports is getting higher and higher.The development of higher vocational physical education has become the general trend.However,Sichuan Sports College is just a new and representative sports vocational college.On the basis of consulting a large number of documents,this paper uses the methods of literature research,expert interview,questionnaire survey,field investigation and mathematical statistics to analyze the current situation and existing problems of Sichuan Sports College,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures,so as to promote the further sustainable development of Sichuan Sports College.The present situation of Sichuan Sports College is as follows: the existing infrastructure of classrooms,laboratories,libraries,practice bases,canteens,dormitories and so on can basically meet the initial teaching needs;the college implements the principal-in-charge system under the leadership of the Party Committee,with administrative departments,management agencies and other departments performing their duties;106 teachers with university qualifications,professional academia,etc.ten leaders,31 double-qualified teachers and the construction of teaching staff need to be strengthened urgently;five majors,namely,sports training,physical education,social sports,sports operation and management,sports health care and rehabilitation,are all matched with the training plan of professional talents;the basic formation of campus culture,but it is urgent to strengthen the construction;the Institute formulates a more standardized enrollment brochure and enrollment system to adapt to the smooth development of recruitment and employment.The problems existing in the development of Sichuan Sports College are as follows: imperfect infrastructure facilities,coexistence of higher vocational education and competitive training,impelling infrastructure facilities to be unable to maximize their use in teaching;due to the transformation of the college,the ideas of personnel at all levels are not updated in time,lack of sound rules and regulations,and the current situation needs to be improved urgently;weak faculty and inconsistent age structure of teachers in the college reasonably,the educational level is uneven,and the ability of scientific research and innovation is weak;the specialty setting is not scientific and reasonable enough,lacks the leader of specialty disciplines,the curriculum setting is unreasonable,and lacks the ability of offering elective courses;because it is a newly-established university,the college enrollment propaganda work is not in place,the number of students is insufficient,the connotation construction is insufficient,and the enrollment system is not perfect enough,facing employment.Students'professional skills are not strong enough,and their employment concept needs to be changed.Campus culture construction lacks cultural precipitation,weak cultural connotation and weak atmosphere.Sichuan Sports College is facing opportunities and challenges: Seizing the opportunities of credit system declaration,single enrollment and promotion channels,combining with its own advantages and conditions,expanding its visibility and influence;facing its own weaknesses,facing challenges and competition from other sports vocational colleges and other external factors,avoiding threats and challenges.The basic train of thought for the development of Sichuan Sports College is to insist on studying and carrying out the spirit of the Nineteenth National Congress of the CPC,to carry out the strategic deployment of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC as "one cadre,more branches,five districts,four-way expansion and all-round opening up",to closely focus on the strategic deployment of "123456" for the development of Sichuan Sports,and to explore a new type of sports vocational education office with Sichuan characteristics and rich sports characteristics.The way of learning is the guiding ideology for the construction of Sichuan strong sports province and the development of national sports undertakings to cultivate and transport more excellent sports professionals;the purpose of establishing morality and cultivating people,combining sports with education and learning with training should be firmly adhered to,and a new way of running sports vocational education with Sichuan characteristics should be explored so as to cultivate students.The school orientation and goal of cultivating practical sports talents and high-level competitive sports talents with strong sports professional skills as well as"four possessions"and"three creations".In order to achieve the goal of running a school,we need to deepen the reform,integrate resources,continuously strengthen the professional construction,the construction of teachers,the construction of books and materials,the construction of campus infrastructure,digital campus construction,scientific research,party and government construction,foreign cooperation and exchanges,and the construction of campus culture,so as to promote the innovation,characteristics and sustainable development of the college.Mainly from the management system,discipline,faculty,infrastructure,enrollment and employment,campus culture and other aspects of countermeasures to analysize: Sichuan Sports College needs to actively optimize the management system,improve the level of leadership management,establish and perfect the system and normative rules and regulations;it needs to strengthen the discipline specialty construction,pay attention to the interdisciplinary relevance,based on the characteristics of the college,and insist on doing so.To rationally allocate resources and give priority to the development of key characteristic disciplines and specialties;to strengthen the construction of teaching staff,optimize the structure of teachers' age,academic qualifications and professional titles,and implement the strategy of "going out and introducing them";to speed up the construction of practice and training bases,laboratories and libraries according to the actual situation of the college;to strengthen the recruitment and employment work,make use of the advantages and characteristics of the college itself,and to expand the number of students;and we need to strengthen publicity,actively improve the enrollment brochure,and strengthen the construction of its own connotation.At the same time,students should strengthen their
