There is a column of "reading materials" in the junior high school mathematics textbook of Huashi edition.The content of "reading materials" is rich and colorful,aiming at developing students' intelligence,expanding students' knowledge,stimulating students' interest in learning and strengthening students' practical ability,so as to improve students' mathematical literacy.However,in daily teaching,the frequency of teachers' using of "reading materials" is very low.Students seldom study "reading materials" either.This leads to the fact that the column of "reading materials" is in vain and does not play its educational function.Aiming at the phenomenon that teachers and students in junior high schools in this region generally neglect "reading materials",this paper puts forward the teaching research of "reading materials" in junior high school mathematics based on core literacy.The purpose of this topic is to find out the reasons for the neglect of "reading materials",and then put forward effective strategies to solve the above problems.Firstly,the author makes a survey of the teachers and students in some schools which use the Mathematics Textbook of Huashi edition.Through questionnaires,face-to-face interviews,field observations and other methods to collect a large number of data,After collating and analyzing the data,The author finds the following problems: Most teachers and students have affirmed the significance of "reading materials",but due to the heavy teaching task,limited class hours,and "reading materials" is not the content of the exam and other reasons,most teachers use "reading materials" very low frequency.Teachers seldom explain "reading materials" and do not give any reading suggestions to students,So only a small number of students have a simple reading of "reading materials".In order to solve the above problems,the author consulted all the papers and journals about "reading materials" on the Internet,and read a lot of articles and books about "mathematical core literacy" to lay a good theoretical foundation for this paper.Also,the author carefully studied each "reading material" in the Mathematics Textbook of Huashi edition.According to the different content and educational function of "reading material",The author "reading material" classified in detail.And according to different categories,the following teaching strategies are formulated: First,the situation should be set up skillfully and the "reading materials" should be integrated into the classroom teaching so as to enrich the classroom contents and stimulate students' interest in learning.Second,teachers can arrange "reading materials" as comprehensive practical homework after class to cultivate students' practical ability.Third,teachers can give students reasonable reading suggestions,ask students to read independently after class,so as to strengthen students' autonomous learning ability and inquiry ability.Finally,through a teaching case,the author shows how to integrate "reading materials" into classroom teaching.The author makes a comparison of teaching from the aspects of students' classroom reflection and learning effect.Then the author interviewed some students in order to understand the students' point of view about integrating the "reading materials" into classroom teaching.Through comparison and interview,the author finds that the classroom integrated with "reading materials" is richer in content,more active in atmosphere and higher in students' participation.At the end of the article,the author rethinks and prospects the research.Based on the core literacy,the author studies the "reading materials" in the mathematics textbooks of the Huashi edition which are being used in this area.The purpose of this paper is to attract more teachers and students to attach importance to the learning of "reading materials".In addition,the author also hopes that the students will constantly improve their core mathematical literacy in the study of "reading materials".
