Nowadays,the development of Internet technology has changed the way which students obtain information.At the same time,the development of science and technology makes the social requirements for talents more diversified.The People who has innovation ability is becoming more and more popular thus the teaching method of teachers should be developed.STEAM education plays an important role in the process of cultivating application ability and comprehensive accomplishments,It is of great significance to apply this concept to biology experiment teaching in junior high school,hence,the author combined corresponding experiments with teaching concepts of steam to conduct research in the research on teaching effectiveness.First of all,through reading the literatures and making analyses,the author summarizes the teaching characteristics of STEAM and studies original process of STEAM education.The author also tries to understand the learning situation and expectation of students for biological experiment who come from author's practice school,and acquaint teacher's opinion about integrating the ideal of STEAM into biological experiment in junior middle school.The author reaches two purposes mentioned above by questionnaire and conversation.Production of rice wine and exploring the effect of alcohol on the heart rate of snails are chosen to make a teaching design to build teaching process.The teaching process including creating a situation to bring up the experimental theme,initial design of the experimental plan,explaining the principle of experiment,improving the program,conducting the experiment,evaluating the experimental result and giving assignment.At last,the author proposes evaluation method through implementing of teaching project.The results shows that students are interested in junior high school biological experiment class combined teaching idea of STEAM and this method also increases their interests,stretch students' brain and also improves manipulative ability.Teaching methods are helpful to the cultivation of students' thinking ability and the improvement of their interest and enthusiasm in biological experiments.
