Research On The Construction Of Student Associations In Secondary Vocational Schools

The cultivation of comprehensive talents with independence and creativity,which embodies the integrated development of morality,intelligence,physique,aesthetics and labor,is specifically requested by quality-oriented education.Thus,schools must put emphasis on the combination of students' practical and theoretical ability,and the integration of their knowledge and skills,so as to promote a healthy mental and physical development.Not only does The study on the construction of students' associations in the secondary vocational schools have a certain theoretical significance for enriching the theory of student association management,but also of practical significance to the problem of helping the construction of students' associations in the secondary vocational schools.This paper,through drawing on related theories bearing on the construction of students'associations such as students' development,Maslow's hierarchy of needs,and principles of school management,extracts the theoretical methodology for the students' association construction research in secondary vocational schools.It describes an empirical study on the construction of students' association in a secondary vocational school in Chizhou,Anhui province.On the basis of the research,it finds a series of issues.For instance,the low engagement,the weak sense of identity,the inadequate guarantee of growth environment,and the lack of professional tutors during the association construction,etc.It analyses the concrete factors in terms of the deficiency of the rules and regulations,the students' lack of consciousness,and the imperfection of growth environment as well.Based on the status quo of students' association construction in the case,the paper puts forward to some corresponding suggestions to enhance the association construction in secondary vocational schools in terms of rules and regulations establishment,core leaders cultivation,management,and growth environment.It initially aims to perfect norms through constructing an effective and flexible management system and building a range of advanced,high quality activities;next it intends to foster core student leaders in characteristic students'associations;then it hopes to strengthen the construction management through the political construction,the recruitment and management of the tutors,and scientific evaluation system;lastly,it wishes to better the growth ambience through promoting the identity recognition,circumstance development,and activities innovation.
