Student Participation In The Management Of College Student Affairs

The management of student affairs in the management of colleges bears the fundamental task of serving students and educating people.It bears the fundamental task of cultivating talents and educating people.Colleges must find out the position of student affairs management in the management of college affairs,and find the space that student affairs management can play in talent training.In the past,the focus of student affairs management only emphasized how the school manages pyramids from top to bottom,and students are at the bottom of the "serviced"object.Therefore,the lack of active participation of students has become a major problem in the process of democratization of student affairs management.With the progress of social democratization and the improvement of civic awareness,in particular,the subjective consciousness of college students is enhanced,promoting the democratization of student affairs management has become a major trend in the development of internal governance in universities.As the first line of student affairs management for education,management and service students,it is reasonable to adapt to these changes and make a difference,improving student participation in student affairs management has become an important part of internal governance development of colleges.Simultaneously,multi-agent participation governance theory and deliberative democracy theory provide a theoretical basis for students to participate in student affairs management.Encourage mutual trust between participating entities and the combination of the flexibility and diversity of participation,in order to achieve the goal of good governance in public affairs.This study uses a self-developed questionnaire,taking participate willingness,participation content,participation channel,and participation effectiveness as the survey dimension,analysis of the status quo in all grades of Y University.Found:students' overall participation is not high,motivation for participation is not correct;student participation is less,participation is in a low stage;the system guarantee of laws and regulations is not perfect,low utilization of the protection channel;students' overall participation is not effective.After summarizing and summarizing the status quo of the investigation,the main problems in the participation of Y undergraduates in student affairs management are:the utilitarian tendency of participation will be serious;participation content is concentrated in the internal management of student organizations;participation in safeguards supporting measures are not complete;Participation in efficiency partialization.In-depth analysis of the causes of student participation in Y University's student affairs management,it mainly discusses four aspects:ideological concept,political system,organization and social environment.The findings are as follows:constrained by the traditional ideas of managers and students;fuzzification of student organization;the neglect of students' power in the internal power structure of colleges and universities;the democratic management of colleges is progressing slowly in the process of democratization.Based on a comprehensive analysis of status quo and causes of student participation in Y University's student affairs management,put forward four targeted improvement measures,details as follows:improve abilities to "join"-guide managers and students to establish new ideas,provide appropriate democratic participation courses and practices;consolidate "can participate"content-strengthen the construction of students' organizational power,standardize the scope and boundaries of student participation;expand "willing to participate" channel-improve the operation of traditional means of participation,introducing modern networked participation means;create a "paradise" environment-constructing a democratic participation incentive model,strengthening the construction of campus democracy culture.
