Almost all the selected articles in Chinese textbooks are both literary and emotional.They are the classic articles with the beauty of implication and language as well as the crystallization of human and national culture.Therefore,Chinese textbooks play an irreplaceable role in inheriting and carrying forward the excellent culture of the Chinese nation and improving national cultural awareness.Traditional culture education for students through Chinese class is not only conducive to improving students' Chinese accomplishment,but also to enhancing national creativity and cohesion.Chinese textbooks are not only a part of culture,a component of culture in a certain period,but also a carrier of inheritance and transmission of culture,so that culture can be continued and developed.However,cultural inheritance and communication are limited.Not all cultures can be included in textbooks,and only those worthy of transmission can be included in textbooks.The traditional culture compiled in textbooks is selected and processed according to the values of editors and the interests of specific groups,which inevitably contains value orientation.Due to the relatively stable political and economic development during the period of the national government and the establishment of a relatively complete education system,it was the golden period of textbook compilation.Moreover,few scholars studied textbooks in this period.,so it had important research value.Therefore,in this study,three sets of elementary school Chinese textbooks published during the period of the national government,including fuxing mandarin textbooks published by the commercial press,kaiming mandarin textbooks published by the kaiming bookstore,and traditional culture articles published by zhonghua publishing house,were taken as samples.Method.the research framework constructed a framework to analyze the value orientation of this study include individual personal morals,family ethics,social ethics,national feelings,scientific spirit and folk customs under the six main categories and several categories,using literature research,content analysis and comparative study on three sets of Chinese textbooks in the traditional culture bymeans of combing and analysis of the value orientation.Firstly,the commonness of the three sets of textbooks' traditional cultural value orientation is analyzed,and it is found that the three sets of textbooks are all aimed at strengthening national morality,maintaining family ethics with benevolence,promoting national feelings with patriotism,and arousing scientific spirit with the pursuit of truth.The commonality presented by the three sets of textbooks is the result of adapting to the educational goal and the time demand of the national government,being influenced and promoted by the trend of scientific education and the trend of pragmatism education,as well as the result of the accumulated disadvantages of feudal ideology.Followed by the three sets of textbooks,the differences of traditional culture value orientation analysis,found that due to the differences in compiling ideas and editors' ideals and preferences,three sets of textbooks in individual personal morals orientation and national feelings orientation is different,and the commercial press attention to social ethics and customs in particular,select the "helpful" and "break the rule" contents in the traditional culture.Finally,based on the analysis of the traditional cultural value orientation of the three sets of textbooks,it reflects on the history and reality.There are four aspects in the historical reflection.First,the three sets of textbooks account for a small proportion of the traditional cultural texts,which are mostly replaced by foreign texts and stories.Secondly,the traditional culture in the three sets of textbooks reflects the core values of the country,and takes solving the existing social problems as the main line.Third,the three sets of textbooks inherit the excellent Chinese cultural tradition when selecting traditional culture.Finally,the textbooks will weaken the Chinese classics when highlighting the value of The Times.The realistic enlightenment also includes four aspects.First,inheriting culture with native language textbooks is "keeping the integrity",and we should pay attention to the status of traditional culture in contemporary textbooks.Secondly elaborated the outstanding traditional culture is the national endless source of life.Thirdly,in order to better convey the value orientation and give consideration to the ideological education and cultural edification of students,the selection and presentation of traditional culture should be paidattention to.Finally,according to the value orientation of modern textbooks,the proportion of traditional cultural value orientation is optimized to make it more scientific and reasonable.
