In the stage of primary school,there are many problems in the mathematics learning for students.It has been found that it's mainly caused by the lack of mathematical reading ability through the teaching practice.The newly revised curriculum standards for basic education in China emphasized the necessity of cultivating students' ability of mathematical reading and mathematics communication.How to improve the pupils' ability of mathematical reading?Mathematics comes from life and is applied to life,and reading and writing are two kinds of necessary learning tools for primary school students.Therefore,linking mathematical reading and life-based writing is certain to play a positive role in mathematics learning.To this end,the research specifically focuses on the good relationship between lifebased writing and pupils' reading ability on mathematics,taking the literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method as theoretical support,meanwhile,observing the math classes in primary school and following the teaching course to make investigations and researches.Five chapters divided are as follows.Chapter 1: The presentation of the problem.The background and significance of the research are put forward,relevant research results are made on such aspects as the gist of mathematical reading,factors affecting mathematical reading,mathematical reading ability,mathematical reading teaching and mathematics writing.The literature review not only includes collections of the existing research results,but also the specific research direction.Chapter 2: We give an overview of the concepts and characteristics of reading,mathematical reading,and mathematical reading of primary school students.In addition,we define the related connotations of mathematical life-based writing and clarify the logic between concepts,and point out the related theories.Chapter 3: Through the questionnaire survey of pupils on their ideas,attitudes,habits and methods of mathematical reading and life-based writing,this study draws the following conclusions: In general,the mathematics reading ability of the sixth grade students is low,and the students of different academic levels are significantly different.we analyze results and seek solutions to improve mathematical reading ability of primary school students,and make some illustrations.Chapter 4: We explain the strategies of life-based writing on improving the mathematical reading of primary school students,which includes providing materials for lifebased writing,strengthening the practice of life-based writing,and constructing a model ofthe forming course of the primary school mathematical life-based writing and its operation instruction and notes.Chapter 5: We study the effectiveness about how to improve primary school students' mathematical reading ability by life-based writing.For the quality education of primary school mathematics,based on the core literacy education theory,we do comparative analysis on the improvement of mathematics reading ability influenced by life-based writing from different perspectives including as cultivating pupils' interest in mathematics reading,independent thinking,comprehensive thinking,sentiment thinking and application strengthening.Finally,the teaching suggestions are put forward to improve the mathematics reading ability of primary school students.Mathematical teachers should pay attention to mathematics life-based writing in teaching.
