As a classic part of Lu Xun's works in Chinese textbooks for middle schools in China,"What to teach" and "How to teach" have always been the hot topics in education and teaching.As a neighbor of China,Japan has studied Lu Xun and his works for many years.In Japanese middle school textbooks,Lu Xun's works are also selected as the text carrier of national education.This paper chooses "Hometown" from textbooks of China and Japan,examines the frustrations and difficulties of teaching "Hometown" for many years,draws valuable experience of teaching "Hometown" from different cultural backgrounds from an international perspective,adopts comparative research methods,guided by educational and teaching theories,takes "Learning Guidance Key Points(Ping Cheng 29 years)of Japan" and "Compulsory Education Language" of China.The curriculum standard(2011)is the standard,choosing the teaching cases of "Hometown" between China and Japan since the new century as the object of study,trying to compare the teaching objectives and teaching implementation of "Hometown" between the two countries,and then draw inspiration to explore the development direction of "Hometown" teaching in the two countries and the errors to be avoided in the overall sense.The main body of this paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is an overview,which combs "Hometown" in Chinese and Japanese textbooks as a whole.This paper explores the compilation intention of the textbook editors of China and Japan in choosing "Hometown",and through horizontal comparison of the position of "Hometown" in the textbooks of different versions of the two countries,it has a comprehensive understanding of the status and importance of "Hometown" in the textbooks of China and Japan,so as to point out the direction and lay a foundation for the comparative study of the following chapters.The second chapter compares the teaching objectives of "Hometown" between China and Japan,and compares the teaching objectives of "Hometown" between China and Japan from three aspects of "theme interpretation","entering characters" and "written expression".The third chapter is the comparison of teaching implementation.On the basis of sorting out and comparing the translation of "Hometown" in Japanese textbooks,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the teaching implementation of "Hometown" between China and Japan from three aspects:teaching content,teaching methods and students' classroom participation.Chapter four is theEnlightenment of the comparative study on the teaching of "Hometown" between China and Japan.It summarizes the comparative study from two perspectives of the effectiveness and development prospects of teaching in the two countries.Through comparative study,this paper ponders on the effectiveness of "Hometown" teaching in the two countries,and puts forward some suggestions on the development direction of "Hometown" teaching in the future and the errors to be avoided,in order to provide useful help and guidance for the teaching practice of "Hometown" in middle schools.In a word,through comparative study,this paper tries to illustrate that Lu Xun's work Hometown has a profound teaching foundation and realistic needs of the times.Over the years,the selection and compilation of various editions of textbooks in China and Japan and the teaching experience of teachers in both countries have fully proved the rationality and teaching value of Lu Xun's work Hometown.Although there are great differences in the teaching of Hometown between China and Japan due to various reasons,each has its own advantages in conformity with its own teaching situation.We should take "Hometown" as the bridge of education and teaching communication between China and Japan,draw on the teaching concepts and methods behind the teaching of "Hometown" of the two countries,complement each other's advantages,and jointly promote the teaching of "Hometown" of the two countries to radiate new vitality in the new era.
