Malignant tumors are now a major killer of human health,threatening people’s lives.According to data published by the World Health Organization’s International Cancer Center,the incidence of breast cancer has increased year by year in recent years,and it has become the largest number of cancer patients in the world.Although with the advancement of science and technology,the medical field has made great progress in the treatment of cancer,but this progress is more concerned with the physiological aspects of patients,but not much attention is paid to its psychological needs.According to the survey,cancer patients will have varying degrees of depression.This psychological barrier to the patient largely affects the effectiveness of the treatment and the quality of life of the patient.Therefore,the medical community and the public have begun to pay attention to how to reduce and eliminate the depression of breast cancer patients.Based on the research results of the current stage,this paper selects Ms.Liu from the Jinan Oncology Department of Shanghai Oriental Hospital as the research object,and attempts to apply the case social work method to guide the depression of breast cancer patients.First of all,this paper investigates breast cancer patients through field investigations and interviews.The study found that the main depression patients are: low self-evaluation,persistent emotional depression,suspicion of the disease,physical symptoms,resulting in physical symptoms.The causes of depression are: economic factors,poor communication with family members,psychological crux caused by misconceptions about cancer,personality characteristics and self-evaluation.Secondly,it expounds the necessity and feasibility of case work involved in emotional counseling in breast patients.Thirdly,the researchers selected a representative breast cancer patient,Ms.Liu,to conduct a case study of the case,and in the eight cases of service in the past three months,Ms.Liu was professionally serviced to relieve her depression.And in the social support,personal mentality and other aspects of the face have been positively changed.Finally,based on the practice of case intervention,it is summarized and reflected.Although the intervention of this case has improved the depression of the victim,Ms.Liu,and has achieved the expected goals,there are still limited professional services and insufficient attention to the setting of service targets.It is necessary to continuously explore and Improve.
