Case Work Involved In The Action Research Of Rural Women's Suicidal Idea Intervention

Suicide is a serious public health problem and social problem in China.In our country,the rural women's group has a higher suicide rate.Therefore,social work intervention on rural women's suicide is of practical significance.This article takes the casework service provided by the rural women who have high-intensity suicidal ideation during the internship of the Ji'an City Rescue Management Center.The crisis intervention model is based on the practical concepts and practical principles under the local culture.This study uses the action research method to provide case services for rural women with high-intensity suicidal ideation during the internship at the Ji'an City Rescue Management Center.Under the theoretical guidance of the crisis intervention model,the author helps the service object to change the original inappropriate response method,find new alternative response methods,and enhance the ability of the service object to cope with life crisis events.Under the guidance of the crisis intervention model,the author adopts the service strategy: first,the suicidal idea strength assessment;secondly,identify the main problem;again,change the unreasonable response method;finally,test the effectiveness of the alternative response method.Through social work intervention,the intensity of suicidal ideation of the client is effectively reduced.This paper argues that,based on local culture,the practical concept that social workers should follow when applying the crisis intervention model is: Believe that by tapping the potential,advantages and surrounding resources of the service target,the service object can help the life object to survive the life crisis and improve The ability of service targets to cope with crisis problems;the practical principles that social workers should abide by: encourage service objects to introspect,focus on the advantages of service targets,and limit goals.
