In 2017,the Ministry of Education formulated the Physics Curriculum Standards of Senior High School(2017 edition)(the new curriculum standards)highlights "humanity-oriented" and concerns the long development of students.It also paves the way for a long-term education of individual progress.The new curriculum standards added some factors:the key competence of physics and academic abilities,which gives higher standards to the education of senior high school.Class discussion teaching is an educational method and students could actively express individual ideas under the instruction from educators because they play a vital role in class discussion teaching.Under the method,students could actively join the class learning,which promote the cultivation of the key competence.The research designed and practiced class discussion teaching method in three parts of senior high school "Mechanics":conceptual learning(mass point,reference system and coordinate system),reasoning teaching(the Newton's second law)and experiment teaching(instrument time speed test).Researchers also interviewed the students and teachers who took part in class discussion teaching.The paper summarized the factors which affected the teaching results and proposed some suggestions about class discussion teaching method,based some results about interviewing and observation of class.The discoveries of the research are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction.This paper mainly introduces the background of the research and the methods and ideas of the research,and analyzes the research status of the classroom discussion teaching method at home and abroad through the literature review.The background of the research is mainly from the cultivation of the core literacy of students' physics,which is the basic requirement of the current high school physics teaching and the current status of the current teaching methods.The second chapter is the theoretical basis of the research.This chapter introduces constructivist learning theory and humanistic learning theory and its implications for classroom discussion teaching methods.The third chapter is an overview of the use of classroom teaching methods.The concept,components and characteristics of the classroom discussion pedagogy were introduced in detail,and the general process of implementing the classroom discussion pedagogy and the principles to be followed were elaborated.This paper proposes that the use of classroom discussion teaching methods mainly includes classroom discussion should be rational grouping and clear division of labor;classroom discussion should reasonably balance the relationship between competition and cooperation;classroom discussion should fully reflect the student's subject status;its topic should fully mobilize students'enthusiasm.The fourth chapter is the practical part of the classroom discussion teaching method.Three cases of high school physics "Mechanics" were selected to design and implement the classroom discussion pedagogy.The teachers and students were interviewed in depth,and the interview results were analyzed.Through practical teaching and interview research,the author finds that it is necessary to select appropriate teaching methods according to the type of knowledge.The grouping method and whether students prepare for the classroom have a certain influence on the teaching effect of the classroom discussion.The classroom discussion method has different effects on students with different personalities and different grades.Differences,teachers should reasonably guide students'competition and cooperation.The fifth chapter is the summary part.Based on the analysis of interview results in the previous chapter,the factors that influence the effectiveness of classroom discussions are:discussion of the problem setting,grouping of students,preparation of teachers and students before class.The teaching suggestion proposed by the thesis is that students need to carefully prepare before class and develop the habit of independent thinking.They should actively participate in the discussion in the classroom and dare to express their opinions.The thesis proposes the teaching suggestions of the teachers,creating the enthusiasm and initiative of the students to discuss the situation,preparing well before the class,making timely countermeasures for possible problems,using the rewards and punishments reasonably,and mobilizing the students'enthusiasm.At the end of this chapter,the shortcomings of this research are summarized and the future research is prospected.
