The deepening of basic education reform poses new challenges to teachers’ knowledge and skills.The knowledge system of middle school is more complex than that of primary school.In addition,the particularity of the physical and mental development of middle and high school students requires middle school teachers to keep learning and meet challenges.Due to the lack of teaching experience,limited interpersonal skills and weak ability to adapt to the environment,the pressure of beginning teachers is greater than that of experienced teachers.Therefore,multi-channel learning and rapid self-professional growth are more urgent for beginning teachers.Middle school new teachers should not only participate in the unified training of the school and relevant education departments,but also take the initiative to learn by taking advantage of the surrounding resources according to their own actual needs.By virtue of its advantages of sociality,individuality and flexibility,informal learning provides new ideas for solving problems such as unequal learning opportunities,demand mismatch and time and space limitation for middle school new teachers.Therefore,based on relevant theories of informal learning,this paper,by means of questionnaire survey and interviews,understands the current situation and existing problems of informal learning of middle school new teachers in China,analyzes the underlying reasons behind the problems,and then proposes improvement strategies to better promote the professional development of middle school new teachers.This study mainly includes the following five parts:First,this paper discusses the reason,purpose and significance of this research,and sorts out the research results of informal learning at home and abroad,then puts forward the research ideas and methods,and clarifies the relevant core of the research.The second is to further interpret the theoretical basis of the research by combining relevant literature.Third,according to the questionnaire survey on informal learning of middle school new teachers,the basic situation of the respondents,awareness of informal learning,methods and methods,learning effect,specific performance of learning effect and its influencing factors were analyzed and sorted out.Fourth,based on the results of the questionnaire survey and interview,this paper summarizes the problems existing in the aspects of learning awareness,learning content,learning process and external support of junior high school teacher,and makes corresponding attribution from the aspects of teachers’ spirit,learning methods,learning strategies and school management in the face of their problems.Fifth,aiming at the problems and their causes,this paper proposes corresponding improvement strategies from the aspects of enhancing the informal learning awareness of junior middle school teachers,innovating the informal learning methods,optimizing the informal learning process and establishing the external guarantee mechanism of informal learning,so as to provide practical and feasible help for the informal learning of junior middle school teachers.
