Research On The Development Strategy Of Inner Mongolia University Of Finance And Economics From The Perspective Of Regional And National Characteristics

At the National Education Conference held in September 2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that education is an important cornerstone of national rejuvenation and social progress.It is a modern political project that benefits the future and enhances the overall quality of the people and promotes people’s comprehensiveness.It is of decisive significance to develop and enhance the innovation and creativity of the Chinese nation and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.At the meeting,specific requirements were made for accelerating the modernization of education,building a strong country in education,and ensuring the satisfaction of the people.As an integral part of China’s higher education system,local colleges and universities in minority areas are affiliated to the provinces(autonomous regions).The local finance allocates funds to serve the economic and social development of ethnic areas,and strives to cultivate high-quality talents as the overall goal.In August 2015,the State Council issued the "Decision of the State Council on Accelerating the Development of Ethnic Education".In May 2016,the State Council issued the "Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Accelerating the Development of Education in the Central and Western Regions" to accurately position the guiding ideology and basics of national education in the new era.Principles and development goals provide clear guiding ideology for improving the level of higher education in ethnic areas.In January 2017,the State Council issued the "13th Five-Year Plan for National Education Development" to determine the guiding ideology,basic principles,and main objectives of the "13th Five-Year Plan" for education reform and development,and required local education management departments to organize the formulation of "universal education".The 13 th Five-Year Plan for Development.As a local finance and economics college in a minority area,Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics takes basic adjustments as “adjusting structure,optimizing layout,highlighting characteristics,strengthening application,opening cooperation and serving the localities”,and is facing new challenges and opportunities in the new era.By studying the challenges and opportunities that it faces,we will develop a development path with its own characteristics.This paper firstly summarizes the development status of contemporary colleges and universities,the development of local colleges and universities in ethnic regions,and puts forward the research significance,research ideas and research methods.Then,it summarizes the research content,research results and related theories of experts and scholars at home and abroad on the development strategy of colleges and universities,which serves as the theoretical basis of this paper.This study uses PEST analysis method,SWOT analysis method,EFE matrix analysis method and IFE matrix analysis method to analyze the external environment such as political environment,economic environment,social cultural environment and technical environment of Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics.Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics,brand and cultural advantages,disciplines and professional resources,human resources,financial resources and other internal environment to study,identify the advantages and disadvantages of Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics,opportunities and threats,and master the Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics Development situation.Finally,based on the analysis results,the development strategy of Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics was preliminarily formulated,and the key links and safeguard measures that should be paid attention to during the implementation of the strategy were proposed.
