The ability of scientific language expression is a basic ability for students to learn scientific knowledges.In the science curriculum standards of primary school,there are clear requirements for cultivating grade 5-6 students' ability of scientific language expression.In addition,students in this phase are also in a critical period of developing the ability.Therefore,in order to help educators to effectively cultivate grade 5-6 students' ability of scientific language expression,the research aims to solve three key problems:(1)What is the current situation of grade 5-6 students' ability of scientific language expression?(2)What are the main reasons for the questions about the development of grade 5-6 students' ability of scientific language expression?(3)what are the effective strategies to cultivate students' ability of scientific language expression in primary school science teaching?Through questionnaire survey,interview with teachers and classroom observation,it is found that students have a more correct understanding about the scientific language and its application,students have a strong sense of communicating and cooperating with others to solve problems.But at the same time,there are still some holistic problems,the results of the assessment of the ability of scientific language expression are not satisfactory,the actual effect of spoken scientific language expression is not good,the accumulation of scientific linguistic knowledge is weak,the habitual use of daily language to express scientific knowledge and views,and the lack of initiative and enthusiasm to participate in speech activities.And there are also difference problems,grade 5-6 students' ability level are significant different as well as it is less affected by gender differences.In addition,the survey also reveals the teacher training problems that the targeted training of students' abilities of teachers are lack,students' ability development are affected by teachers' teaching styles and language,and teachers lack effective guidance for students' spoken scientific language expression.Based on the survey,we analyzed the reasons of there are holistic and differences problems in the development of students'abilities,and the main problems in the cultivation of students' abilities by teachers.Finally,based on the investigation,combining the teaching fragments,the paper puts forward the cultivation strategies to promote the formation and development of students' ability.To be specific,the students' knowledge of scientific language is consolidated by improving the teaching process of new knowledge.Skillfully construct the scaffolding of scientific language application to promote the output of students' scientific verbal information.Entirety test the effectiveness of students' scientific language expression and the sufficient training and improvement of ability have been achieved.Organize students to carry out diversified activities of scientific language expression to promote the consolidation and development of their abilities.Improve the external speech environment and internal psychological quality which create good verbal conditions for the development of students' ability.
