| Improving the quality of education and teaching and improving the level of running schools have always been the focus of attention of all kinds of schools at all levels.The teaching quality is influenced by both the teaching level of teachers and the organization and management of schools.In the existing studies,more attention is paid to the influence of teachers’ classroom teaching level and quality on school teaching quality.This study focuses on the influence of class preparation in school organization and management on education and teaching quality.This paper takes H middle school in Z county as a case through adopting the special class arrangement method,the qualitative research method,and specifically USEING the interview method,questionnaire survey method,observation method and other methods.H junior high school features curriculum and teaching arrangement for the senior high school entrance examination,strict management,relatively stable teachers group,students group with various background,and those parents struggling to balance family(make a living)and education.In the context of the government’s expectation,inter-school competition,teachers’ pressure and insufficient management,in order to improve the teaching quality and ensure the enrollment rate,the senior leaders of H junior high school made a decision after consultation and then implemented the reform of class reorganization according to grade.The class rearrangement of H junior high school by grade is a system that includes three aspects:First,the adjustment of the class arrangement of students.At the beginning of each school year,the class rearrangement of students is conducted according to the final test results of the previous school year.The second is the change of the selection method of the head teacher.The head teacher is not be kept same in 3 school years of high school,but evaluated by each school year’s class comprehensive performance to make the top-ranking into the upper grades,the back-ranking in the same grade.The third is the change in the allocation of teachers to optimize the teachers.The head teacher of grade 9 and section teachers are selected from each other,and the section teachers of grade 8 are selected individually.The remaining teachers are arranged by the school to serve as the teaching work of grade 7.Several years’ practice shows that the class rearrangement system by grade in H junior high school has a double impact.On the positive side,it improves the school’s teaching performance,increases the teachers’ sense of anxiety,and stimulates their passion for work.On the negative side,for students,it increases the burden of schoolwork,which is not conducive to the cultivation of good learning methods and habits and the overall development of students;The increase of teachers’ work and psychological pressure affect the professional growth of young teachers and the construction of teacher team.According to the research,in terms of the starting point of changing the quality of rural junior high school education under the background of limited resources,the class rearrangement system of H junior high school according to grades is a powerful measure,which has reference significance for many rural junior high schools that are committed to the reform.Meanwhile,in terms of development after the new changes,H junior high school classes according to the grade system remains to be further improved for 4 aims:First,from exam-oriented to students-oriented to realize the all-round development of students by" the class rearrangement system by grade",not only for improving the score.Second,from the form to ability,in addition to the form of the combination of teachers to tap potential,more attention should be paid to the improvement of teacher ability.Third,from competition to cooperation,the "re-class according to grade",emphasizes competition while establishing real and effective cooperation.Fourth,from the structure to the culture,"re-class according to grade" is a kind of organizational path challenges,which needs to be built on a pursuit of excellence in teaching,and pay attention to the growth background of each student. |
