Artificial intelligence plays more and more important role in all walks of life and has a great impact on people's lives.In 2017,the State Council publicized the Development Plan on the New Generation of Artificial Intelligence.In 2018,the Ministry of Education issued the Innovative Action Plan for Artificial Intelligence in College and University.Both documents mentioned the need to pay attention to AI education and cultivate innovative talents in this area,which shows the importance the state attaches to the development of artificial intelligence.Although further discussion is available for the full curriculum in primary and secondary schools,it is necessary to educate students interested in AI science education,which not only satisfies students' curiosity about new knowledge,but also improve the AI training system for talents in China,and strengthen the construction of talents reserves.In addition,the newly revised high school information technology subject curriculum standard has the "artificial intelligence preliminary" elective module.However,after literature survey and investigation interviews,it is found that this module does not have much practical experience and theoretical guidance in the current teaching,and there is no case for this course around the discipline core literacy of information technology.This means research on artificial intelligence education still has a large developing space.Based on this background,this article takes the "Artificial Intelligence Quest" elective course opened by a high school in Beijing,and attempts to construct an effective teaching model of AI course in order to improve the discipline core literacy of information technology.This paper mainly includes:(1)It firstly introduces the important concepts of "the discipline core literacy of information technology","artificial intelligence" and "artificial intelligence course" in the new curriculum standards,and sorts out the research further interviews,we can understand the needs and situations for first-line primary status.(2)Then through questionnaires and and secondary school teachers carrying out AI course.(3)Based on the results of the survey,the author takes the high school elective course "Artificial Intelligence Quest",as the research content,aiming to promote students to develop the discipline core literacy of information technology,builds the teaching model,and finally gives a detailed description of"machine vision and pattern recognition" as a case.(4)At the end of the course,the validity and rationality of the teaching model were tested through questionnaires and interviews.The conclusion of this study is that the teaching model of the "Artificial Intelligence Quest" course can enhance the discipline core literacy of information technology.The teaching model is divided into three parts,including case explanation(aiming at Information consciousness and Information society responsibility ability),experiential learning(aiming at Corresponding computational thinking ability)and project-based learning(aiming at Digital learning and innovation ability).
