Since the implementation of the curriculum reform,the education field has paid more and more attention to the overall development of students,paying attention to the emotional experience of students and attaching importance to the development of students'individuality.Mathematics is an abstract subject.It is difficult for primary school students who lack life experience and knowledge base to understand.The learning process is easy to become boring.How to make math lesson lively and interesting and how to make students like mathematics are concerns of many mathematics teachers.Educational games are a combination of knowledge and fun.This characteristic also means that educational games have special educational value.If they can be applied,it is believed to be helpful to primary school mathematics teaching.In order to let more teachers see the educational value of math games and integrate math games into the classroom in a scientific and reasonable way,this paper takes Shenzhen X Elementary School as the research object,and uses literature,observation and interview as the research methods,trying to understand the research status of math games;analyzing the educational value of math games;summarizing and analyzing the distribution of math games for the primary school mathematics textbooks;understanding the application of math games in primary mathematics classrooms;proposing an improved strategy for mathematics game teaching in response to problems in mathematics games.After investigation,it is found that the math games commonly used in primary schools can be divided into five categories:competition,role-playing,chess,hands-on,and electronic.The paper combines typical cases to illustrate the definition of various types of mathematical games,and creatively analyzes the value of mathematical games from the perspective of game elements.After exploration,it is found that each type of mathematical game contains specific game elements,each of which corresponds to certain educational values,so the educational value of different types of math games is different.Through the analysis of the distribution of the five types of mathematics games in the primary school mathematics textbooks,the author found that there are 232 math games in the teaching materials of the people,which shows that the game plays an important role in the primary school mathematics textbooks,it is necessary for teachers to use game teaching methods to match teaching materials.The author has observed 240 mathematics classes in elementary schools,of which 117 sections contain mathematics games.Combined with the observation record of the game link and the teacher interview record,the author finds that there are three major situations in the teaching of math games:The participation of math games needs to be improved;The fluency of the math game class is not optimistic;The innovation of math games needs to be improved.It can be found that the application of mathematical games is not ideal,so it is necessary to take some measures to improve the application of mathematical games teaching.In order for math games to better play educational value in primary school mathematics teaching,in view of the Three status quo in mathematics game teaching,the author tries to propose corresponding improvement measures:Reasonably design math games to increase game participation;Improving teacher professional skills to improve game fluency;Expanding math game material in multiple directions to improve game innovation.I hope that these suggestions can provide some help for front-line teachers to teach math games,so that the educational value of math games can be better realized.
