Textbooks,as the main learning materials for learners in the learning process,are also an important basis for teaching and play an important role in the whole language teaching activities.The quality of teaching materials directly affects the learning of learners and the teaching of teachers.Vocabulary compilation is an essential and important part of textbook compilation,and its quality also directly affects the quality of textbook compilation.For Chinese learners at the primary stage,what kind of vocabulary to input,how many words to input,and the effectiveness and interest of vocabulary practice are all directly related to the learners' learning effect at the present stage and the needs of language learning at the next stage.This paper selects the vocabulary of the Thai Chinese textbook "Chinese" as the research object,and analyzes and studies the vocabulary size and vocabulaly grade,vocabulary repetition rate and vocabulary practice of the textbook.The statistical analysis of vocabulary size and voeabulary grade includes total vocabulary size,volume vocabulary size,divided vocabulary size,vocabulary grade distribution,etc.The study of vocabulary grade takes "New Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus" as the comparison object,and also analyzes and explains the super-class vocabulary appearing in teaching materials.The study on the repetition rate of vocabulary in this set of textbooks specifically counts the repetition rate of new words in this course and this book,and counts the corresponding repetition rate with the repetition rate of 1,1<repetition rate<6 and repetition rate ? 6 as the classification criteria,and also analyzes and explains the special case with the repetition rate of 0,and finds that the repetition rate of vocabulary in this set of textbooks is not ideal.According to the vocabulary exercises in the textbook,this paper counts the types and quantities of vocabulary exercises in the exercise book,analyzes the characteristics of the design of vocabulary exercises,and finally puts forward relevant suggestions for vocabulary compilation and vocabulary exercises in the textbook.With the continuous popularization of Chinese learning in various parts of the world,the development of Chinese teaching in various parts of the world also puts new requirements on Chinese teaching materials,and the study of specific Chinese teaching materials is therefore of more practical value.Therefore,the study of vocabulary compilation of "Chinese" teaching materials commonly used by Chinese schools in Thailand has practical significance.
