Reading is not only the most effective way to acquire knowledge,but also an important cognitive activity.For human beings,the cultivation of their reading ability is related to their future achievements.Based on the theory of "self-regulated learning",this paper explores the connotation of "self-regulated reading ability " and takes two primary schools as examples to investigate the situation of Self-regulated Reading among middle-aged students.Through investigation,problems are found and their causes are analyzed,so as to formulate effective countermeasures to cultivate the Self-regulated Reading Ability of middle-aged students.This paper mainly consists of five chapters.The introduction part mainly includes the raising of the problem of the cultivation of pupils'autonomous reading ability,the significance of the topic research,the research summary at home and abroad,and the research methods of the topic.The first chapter mainly elaborates the relevant theories,specific characteristics and performance characteristics of pupils'autonomous reading.The second chapter is mainly aimed at the status quo of the Self-regulated Reading Ability of the middle-grade students in two primary schools,and carries out questionnaires,interviews with parents and teachers,so as to analyze.The third chapter is based on the current situation of the survey,put forward the main problems and influencing factors of the Self-regulated Reading Ability of middle-aged primary school students.Chapter IV is based on the current situation of the survey,put forward the countermeasures and suggestions to cultivate pupils'autonomous reading ability,which provides a reliable reference for Chinese teaching in primary schools in China.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the main research contents of this paper,analyses the difficulties and shortcomings in this study,and discusses the future research direction.
