With the continuous development of education in today's society,it is the responsibility of art educators to draw on and absorb the advantages,experience and characteristics of art textbooks for junior middle schools in the Mainland with an open mind,so as to provide references for the compilation of art textbooks for junior middle schools in the Mainland,improve the quality of art textbooks in the Mainland,make them more in line with the law of physical and mental development of junior middle school students,and give full play to the role of art textbooks for junior middle school students.Since both Taiwan and Guangdong belong to the southern China,there are many similarities in art,culture,language,living habits and other aspects,and Taiwan is greatly influenced by Lingnan art culture,so there will be more comparability and entry point between those two southern regions.Therefore,this paper chooses the Lingnan version of junior high school art textbooks with the characteristics of traditional Lingnan art culture in Mainland China and the representative Hanlin version of junior high school art textbooks in Taiwan province as the comparison,so as to contribute to the fine arts education in Guangdong province.This paper mainly uses the literature research method,statistical analysis method and comparative research method to conduct research.Starting from the fine arts curriculum standards of junior middle schools in Mainland China and the fine arts curriculum outline of junior middle schools in Taiwan,it analyzes the similarities and differences of the overall organizational structure,unit structure and single structure of the arrangement of fine arts teaching materials in junior middle schools across the Taiwan straits,and compares the knowledge system,skill system,appreciation system,application system and characteristic content in the content structure of the fine arts teaching materials in junior middle schools across the Taiwan straits in detail.Through the detailed comparative study of various aspects of the fine arts teaching materials in junior middle schools across the Taiwan straits,it summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the two sets of teaching materials.This paper sums up the existing problems of the two versions of art teaching materials for junior middle schools and puts forward corresponding suggestions.As the change of education concept,ecological,open,diverse,comprehensiveconsideration of the teaching material development trend into the mainstream,on both sides of the middle school fine arts teaching material's writers should set up the dynamic teaching material view,consider the local students' basic art abilities,needs,interests,life experience,the schools human and material resources and local cultural characteristics and so on conditions,grasp the stages inspired students the characteristics of the aesthetic education,with teaching strategies,let the student to study fine arts from the concept of aesthetics and systematic.Through in-depth comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of junior high school art textbooks on both sides of the Taiwan straits,this paper analyzes the theory and basis supporting the compilation of junior high school art textbooks on both sides of the Taiwan straits,which is conducive to improving the compilation level of junior high school art textbooks on both sides of the Taiwan straits,expanding the vision of the textbook compilation,and enriching the textbook compilation theory.At the same time,it will be conducive to promoting cross-strait art,culture and education exchanges and interaction,and will be conducive to providing opportunities for cross-strait art,culture and education communication and development.
