In view of the fact that Chinese classroom teaching is always based on intensive teaching by teachers and the lesson type confusion between "intensive reading" and "skimming" texts,the Chinese textbook for compulsory education prepared by the Ministry of Education has changed "intensive reading" to "teaching reading" and "skimming" to "self-reading",and set relevant cues for different styles and lesson types.In particular,the arrangement of side notes and reading tips is in conformity with the current concept of curriculum reform,which is helpful for teachers to determine the teaching objectives and contents.It is of great significance for students to strengthen their independent reading ability,develop independent learning habits and establish the learning concept of lifelong development.With the cue phrases for self-reading texts in junior high school Chinese textbook prepared by the Ministry of Education as research object,the paper conducts an analysis of writing content and characteristics of side notes and reading tips and fully explores its value.Moreover,based on the use of side notes and reading tips by teachers and students,the paper attempts to find scientific and systematic suggestions for their use,while proposing suggestions for the preparation of cue phrases for self-reading texts,so as to better promote the "teaching" of teachers and the "learning" of students.Firstly,the paper analyzes the arrangement and content of cue phrases for self-reading texts in Chinese textbook prepared by the Ministry of Education,in which the characteristics of the design of cue phrases for self-reading texts are summarized,which is the basic part of whole paper.Then,through the questionnaire survey,the paper investigates the current situation of teachers and students' use of cue phrases for self-reading texts in Chinese textbook prepared by the Ministry of Education,and attribution analysis is made on the current situation,from the perspectives of teachers,students and the deficiency in preparation of textbook for compulsory education prepared by the Ministry of Education itself,so as to work out more targeted use strategies.Finally,by adopting the methods of literature analysis and case analysis,the author presents scientific and systematic use strategies from the perspectives of teachers and students to deal with the problems and reasons found in thequestionnaire of teachers and students' use of cue phrases for self-reading texts.
